Body language expert reveals tell-tale signs about Brad Pitt's 'floundering' romance with Ines de Ramon

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon appeared on the red carpet on Monday, June 16, to attend the premiere of 'F1' in New York City, but things didn't look as they should have.

Body language expert Judi James was not late to spot many tell-tale signs which hinted that the legendary actor's relationship with his new girlfriend is "floundering," the Daily Mail reported.

Judi James believes many signs reveal that all is not well between the couple, including how Pitt's recent fashion shift could be a possible indication of a bigger problem in his relationship, as the body language expert compared their looks to George and Amal Clooney.

Interestingly, de Ramon donned a halter-neck white gown complete with a feathered skirt, while Pitt opted for a black double-breasted suit with a white button-up for the premiere.

She said, "For this newest relationship, Brad seems to have opted for a George and Amal-looking vibe. Both dazzling-looking, elegant women are non-Hollywood and both are fiercely intelligent and successful in their own fields."

"Both men show signals of a more subdued presence with their women around as though it's the intellect that is keeping them in a state of awe and respect," James told the Daily Mail.

She further added, "Unlike Clooney though, Brad also has a considerable age gap difference, which seems to have created some wardrobe floundering that could reflect on his emotional approach."

James said that Pitt's recent outings have involved some dubious fashion choices that suggest he might be struggling with the age gap and keen to look relevant and edgy.

She added, "It might be better in relationship terms to see him finally bottoming out, finding his authentic place, and relaxing into it with someone who appreciates it."

Meanwhile, James added that it is not just the age gap that is the problem in their latest red carpet appearance.

The body language expert said that the couple seems to have different styles in both thinking and taste, as they have a "lack of synchronicity."

"A more interesting challenge seems to be the acute contrast in Brad and Ines's body language, which could suggest very different thinking styles and tastes," James said.

She added, "This seems to have worked for the Clooney's, who share a profound passion for campaigns and causes. But with Brad right now we're just seeing a lack of synchronicity in terms of non-verbal signals."

In April 2025, an insider revealed to the Daily Mail why Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon won't get married. 

The source said, "He’s 61 and loving his life just the way it is. Brad is totally in love with Ines, but he doesn't want to go down the road of marriage and kids."

Interestingly, people close to the actor hoped that marrying de Ramon might serve as a symbolic closing chapter to his tumultuous romantic history with both Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie.

Meanwhile, insiders said that what stands in the way of him taking the plunge again is not a lack of love, but the residue of emotional trauma.

The source said, "He's been burned badly by the divorce from Angelina, and his kids wanting little if nothing to do with him."

A different insider said, "It’s not like he’s out celebrating [finalizing the divorce]. Brad said he’s tired of Angelina playing the victim role when he’s the one who has been stripped of his family, his kids."
