MONTECITO, CALIFORNIA: Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, recently shared a joyful video in which she enlisted the help of her A-list friends to secure signed merchandise for a Billie Eilish fan whose home was destroyed in the California wildfire.

In the video, Prince Harry's wife Markle radiated childlike excitement, clapping and giggling as she revealed the generous act.

Body language expert Judi James has since analyzed the Duchess's makeup-free appearance, offering insights into her expressive and genuine demeanor, despite facing backlash that Markle was self-promoting and taking credit for what Billie Eilish did in offering merchandise to the young girl affected by the LA fire.

What did body language expert say about Meghan Markle’s ‘child-like’ reel?

Body language expert Judi James has analyzed Meghan Markle's recent video, noting how the Duchess expressed "glee at her own actions."

James further discussed how the video presented a "real narrative" rather than a more polished or regal performance. Meghan appeared "child-like" with excitable giggles and clapping hands throughout the clip, as per Daily Mail.

James explained, “When she starts the video her tone and her non-verbals are more about the narrative, with a noted reference to 'My husband and I' but as she gets to the merchandise she seems to mimic the anticipated excitement of the young girl who will be receiving it, squealing as she picks up a signed album and holds it to the camera.”

She also touched on how the camera angle and Meghan’s voice helped to create an intimate atmosphere. It almost seems like she’s "tiptoeing around her house, making the video in secret,” James observed. “At one point her voice drops to an excited whisper as though she's scared of waking the kids,” she added.

James described Markle's style of videography as “a presentation device of adorability.”

The expert also commented on Markle's makeup-free look, calling it “emphatically informal body language." She added, “Meghan seems to have reverse-leap-frogged back to basics by channeling the intimate, one-to-one, confiding style of influencers like Molly-Mae etc."

James went on to analyze the small details in the video, such as "normal" body language gestures like "nose-rubbing, hair-tossing and even some arm-folding to suggest a lack of vanity here, which is a strong bonding and rapport trait that influencers like Molly-Mae use to create rapport with the viewer."

“It's unusual to cut out the middle man and record your own acts of kindness yourself but Meghan will have left fans gagging for a follow-up Insta,” the body language expert concluded.

Meghan Markle expresses heartfelt thanks to Billie Eilish

In a recent video posted on Meghan Markle’s Instagram, she shared the background behind her generous gesture. She explained that she and Prince Harry had visited Altadena, where they met a mother and her 15-year-old daughter whose home had been destroyed in a fire.

The young girl had told Markle that she was searching for a t-shirt she had received at a Billie Eilish concert, which had been left in the washing machine dryer. Unfortunately, the home was destroyed in the blaze, and the T-shirt was lost as well.

Markle, who was determined to help, worked to ensure that the 15-year-old's story reached Billie Eilish. She successfully managed to secure a variety of signed merchandise for the teen, which she proudly showcased in the video.

Markle explained, “I thought of everybody that I knew and I made a voice note, and I was like, 'Please can someone get this voice note to Billie Eilish? Here's what I'm asking'.”

With excitement, she smiled and shared the items, including a lunchbox and t-shirts, with her millions of followers. "I don't even know what this stuff means, but it's signed for her!" she exclaimed.

She expressed her gratitude, saying, “Huge thank you, Billie Eilish, this is going to mean so much to her, and honestly, to Adam Levine and Behati, you guys helped me get this over the line.”

Ending the video with a big smile, Markle added, “I'm going to go and email her mom now, just wanted to share with you guys.”
