LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Meghan Markle reached out to Billie Eilish to provide a young girl, who had lost her house in the recent Los Angeles wildfires, some merchandise from the Grammy winner's Hit Me Hard and Soft tour.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, shared on Instagram on Tuesday, February 4, how she met a young girl when she recently visited the site of the devastation caused by the Eaton Fire in Altadena, California.

The girl told Markle that she had left a t-shirt she purchased at an Eilish concert in the family's washing machine or dryer, and that was the one item she hoped to  recover when she returned to their burned-out house, per the New York Post.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, February 4, Meghan Markle disclosed that she and the 23-year-old nine-time Grammy winner teamed up to assist the teenage girl who had lost everything in the recent wildfires in Los Angeles.

As Markle pointed out, the dryer and the house were left in ashes, so obviously the t-shirt was also destroyed. In an attempt to help, Markle recorded a voice message for Eilish with the request that she send a t-shirt to gift to the young girl.

Markle, who was born and raised in Los Angeles and currently resides in Montecito, detailed the destruction she and her husband Prince Harry, 40, saw recently.

"About two or three weeks ago, when my husband [Prince Harry] and I were in Altadena, we went to a community where all the homes were left in ashes," Markle recalled in the video.

She went on to say that she had met a mother at the time who was with her 15-year-old daughter, assessing the damage to her house.

"This mom had found a couple things and as I was talking to her, I turned and looked and saw this young woman and I said, ‘Oh my gosh, how old are you?’ She’s 15. She lives there," Markle added.

The mother informed the 'Suits' star that when they first returned to their ruined home, the teenager was looking for a particular thing.

"All she’d been looking for in her home was the t-shirt from the Billie Eilish concert that she had just gone to, that she’d left in the washing machine or the dryer," Markle recalled.

"And of course, they now see their home and the washing machine, the dryer are ash. They’re not there anymore," said the duchess.

After acknowledging that she didn't know Eilish or how to reach her, the duchess began asking friends if they knew the two-time Oscar winner. Fortunately, Adam Levine and his wife, Behati Prinsloo, were among those in her network who did.

"I made a voice note and I was like, ‘Please can someone get this voice note to Billie Eilish? Here’s what I’m asking,'” Markle said.

What transpired next left Markle startled. The duchess received an entire shipment of merchandise from Eilish to present to the young girl.

The 23-year-old 'Bad Guy' singer complied with Meghan Markle's request to help the girl and sent a lunchbox, a signed vinyl record, and a number of clothing items for the young victim.

An ecstatic Markle exclaimed in the video, "You guys! I don’t even know what all this stuff means!"

"It’s signed for her!" Markle said as she picked up an autographed record from Eilish.

Meghan remarked, "Is that a thing? A lunch box thing? I don’t know. This is when I feel really old," while holding out a lunchbox bearing the Eilish emblem.

The duchess praised the 'Ocean Eyes' singer by saying, "Huge ‘thank you,’ Billie Eilish. This is going to mean so much to her."

She also thanked Maroon 5 frontman Levine and his wife. "And honestly, to Adam Levine and Behati: you guys helped get this over the line," said Markle.

The video ended with Markle saying, "To everyone who has been showing up in big and small ways to get through what’s happened in California, just thank you so much."

Markle wrote in the caption of the post, "Let’s keep supporting those affected by the California wildfires. Thanks to everyone who made this possible but most importantly, thank you to our first responders who are the community’s real heroes. As ever, Meghan."
