Brad Pitt desperate to ask Angelina Jolie 'to show mercy' for access to their children amid winery feud
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Brad Pitt is reportedly at his breaking point over being distanced from his children, and sources claim the actor is prepared to make an emotional plea to Angelina Jolie for access.
With the holiday season approaching, insiders say the 'Fight Club' star is feeling the strain of his estranged relationships with his six children, Maddox, 23; Pax, 20; Zahara, 19; Shiloh, 18; and twins Vivienne and Knox, 16, as reported by Radar Online.
Brad Pitt reportedly ready to plead with Angelina Jolie for access to children
"Brad has not given up on his kids and it's been incredibly tough for him to be so alienated from them. The longer it goes, the more painful it gets," an insider revealed.
"With the holidays coming, he's feeling the heartbreak even more and he's now saying he's willing to do whatever it takes to get some time with them even if it means swallowing his pride and asking Angelina to show some mercy."
The actor’s interactions with his children have been limited, with only the youngest two reportedly maintaining visitation contact. Adding to his heartbreak, several of his children have either formally or informally dropped his surname, further straining their ties.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who began divorce proceedings in 2016, have been legally recognized as single since 2019, though their divorce remains unresolved.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's legal battles compound family struggles
Amid this personal turmoil, Brad Pitt is still embroiled in a bitter legal battle with Angelina Jolie over the sale of her 50% stake in their French winery, Chateau Miraval, to Russian billionaire Yuri Shefler.
The ongoing feud has not only drained resources but also contributed to the growing rift between the former couple.
"Brad is weary of the endless court battles and is appealing to Angie to end the bitterness, not only to bring peace but to draw a close to the senseless spending on legal fees."
According to insiders, Pitt is eager to host a Thanksgiving gathering with his extended family, but the absence of his children weighs heavily on him. "He's willing to put an end to the lawsuit and be more agreeable in other matters if she lets him see his kids," the source added.
"He just wants a chance to spend a little time with them. On Thanksgiving, he's planning to have his whole extended family over, and he knows they all love and miss his kids. It kills him that he's estranged and will do whatever is absolutely necessary to break down those barriers."
