MALIBU, CALIFORNIA: Britney Spears' love life seems to echo her lyrics, "in love with a criminal," as the pop sensation has rekindled her romance with ex-beau and felon Paul Richard Soliz, just weeks after declaring her single, stirring quite a storm.
The 'Criminal' singer and Soliz were snapped enjoying a cozy meal together at the chic Soho House in Malibu, California on July 30, as captured by the Daily Mail photographers.

Britney Spears, 42, kept a low profile with oversized sunglasses and a wide-brimmed sun hat. Her outfit included a playful purple floral blouse, crisp white denim shorts and bright red sandals.
Soliz, 37, opted for a relaxed yet stylish ensemble, donning a striking blue and white plaid shirt over a simple white tee, complemented by navy baggy pants straight out of the ’90s and classic Nike kicks.
Despite the buzz, the 'Crossroads' star seemed to be in high spirits as per the Daily Mail. Soliz was seen grinning ear to ear as they mingled outside the upscale venue with a circle of friends.
In May, the Daily Mail exclusively uncovered that Soliz is a father of at least nine children and was embroiled in a legal battle for child support, with the Los Angeles Department for Child Services hot on his trail.
In February, the 'Oops I Did It Again' hitmaker took to Instagram to squash rumors of her dating Paul. In a video showcasing her dance moves, Spears declared herself a "hopeless romantic" who believes "being single is awesome."
However, an insider told Us Weekly, "Britney and Paul are definitely together," adding that "he's still in the picture."
"Britney hooked up with him twice and, at the time, [she] did not know about his criminal past. She no longer has any communication with him," the insider further revealed.

Before her jaw-dropping revelation, Britney Spears seemed to have been entangled with her felonious flame for several months as her IG posts suggest.
Hitting rewind to early July, Britney dropped a bombshell on her Instagram, hinting at a split from Paul with an unfiltered post about her newfound singleness.
The 'Toxic' songstress made waves by declaring herself single on Instagram. She shared a quote from @therandomvibez that read, "Her attitude is savage, but her heart is gold."
But the real kicker was the now-deleted caption she posted for her followers, "Single as f***!!! I will never be with another man as long as I live!!!"
Soliz initially joined the 'Hit Me Baby' singer's household as a cleaner and handyman, but rumors soon swirled about their evolving relationship, shortly after Sam Asghari filed to divorce her in August 2023 as per Page Six.
The felon, convicted of dissuading a witness by force or threat and second-degree robbery reportedly became romantically involved with the singer.
Nicole Mancilla, 36, shared with the Mail that Soliz betrayed her by getting involved with Spears, further claiming that he neglected his financial responsibilities for their five children and his other children from different relationships.
'"Just let them know that my husband fell in Britney Spears' p****. He was married, and now he denies his children," Mancilla said, adding, "He neglects his children for her."
Mancilla also added that despite the neglect he continues to attempt visits at her mother's home in Sylmar, California where she lives with her children.
