‘It’s honestly abusive’: Britney Spears says her body ‘is not perfect’ as she calls out paparazzi for publishing unflattering photos

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Britney Spears is calling out the intrusive paparazzi who released unflattering photos of her. 

Taking to her Instagram, the ‘Toxic’ singer made a lengthy rant about the photos she considered “criminal.”

On Tuesday, June 25, the 42-year-old singer slammed the photographers who released photos of her arriving at the Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles on Monday.

Spears, who is one of the most talked about artists in the world, clapped back at the photographers while claiming she feels she is “one of the most bullied people in the world," per OK! Magazine.

Taking to her Instagram, the ‘...Baby One More Time’ singer posted a short clip of her in a pink mini-dress and beige thigh-high boots. It was the same dress that she wore for her flight from Mexico to California on Monday. 

Taking a dig at the paparazzi, the Grammy-winning singer wrote, "The night before the paps got THAT SHOT of me going to my car !!!" before adding pointedly, "Same dress and same girl !!!"

She continued, "Look, I get it. I know my body is not perfect but I also know I don’t have cellulite on my legs the way the paps betray me !!!" referring to a snap that caught her in an unflattering light. 

The ‘Circus’ star let her frustration known, when she said, "I also know the way the paps shoot me in public when I go out I look like a different person !!! It’s honestly abusive because I do feel like one of the most bullied people in the world !!!"

The artist sounded devastated as she continued, "It’s the truth !!!" before adding, "It’s not healthy for my heart or my health !!!"

The mother-of-two further went on to share her weight with her fans saying, "I’m 122 [pounds] and if I lost anymore weight and was sick and believed those pics I would be in the hospital !!!"

Spears went on to give an impassioned speech regarding the predominance of vanity in the current world, and concluded, "It’s a sticky conversation because in a world of where vanity rules not one person would believe me !!! Not one person will believe me because they prefer the negativity !!! Oh well !!!"

Britney Spears hints reconciliation with her sons on social media

The ‘Oops… I Did It Again’ singer has always used Instagram as her mode of communication with her fans. Recently she even hinted at her reconciliation with her two teenage sons - Jayden and Sean Preston - after years of estrangement,

The rumor of their reconciliation rose when she posted a carousel of pictures of her brother Bryan Spears, 47, from their vacation on June 15.

Uploading the pictures, Spears wrote, “Looking pretty dapper 👌🏼👌🏼 !!! I sent it to my kids and I think they got jealous because they said “that’s a filter … that’s not real” 😂 !!!” hinting that her relationship with the children has improved. 

Recently, a source shared with Daily Mail that Bryan acted as a mediator to improve the relationship between the pop princess and her children. 

Revealing that the two teenagers are “fully back on track” in their relationship with Spears, the source said, “Britney has been speaking to, and working on, her relationship with Sean Preston and Jayden for months now.”

“The boys have so much love for their mother, as she does for them. Things are fully back on track and they are looking forward to the future together,” added the insider. 

They continued, “Bryan was instrumental in facilitating their reunion,” noting, “He cares so much for Britney and about his nephews.”

“She wanted to keep this quiet because she didn't want it to jeopardize their chances of reconciliation, but she's actually been back to being their mom again since February,” revealed the source regarding the timeline of their reconciliation.
