Britney Spears calls son Jayden, 18, ‘genius’ as she raves about his piano skills

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Britney Spears was left in awe after discovering her son Jayden’s impressive piano skills, revealing a heartwarming moment of mother-son bonding as he follows in her musical footsteps.

The video of Jayden’s talent quickly went viral on social media, sparking excitement among fans who couldn’t stop talking about the sweet reunion.

This comes months after reports indicated Jayden reconnected with Britney in November 2024, visiting her after relocating to Hawaii with his father, Kevin Federline, years ago. Spears shares sons Jayden, 18, and Sean Preston, 19, with ex Federline, 46.

Britney Spears shared two heartfelt videos on Instagram on Monday, March 10, giving fans a glimpse into her bonding time with son Jayden at her home.

In one video, Spears can be heard enthusiastically praising her son after he plays the piano for her, panning the camera to show Jayden, who is wearing a white T-shirt, sunglasses, and a beanie, moving around as his mother showers him with compliments.

"That was really good! My son just played, oh my God. I felt it in my bones and my heart and my lungs and my a** and my throat and I'm scared," Spears says. 

She captioned the post, "He’s a genius and I’m in awe of him !!! I can’t believe he’s mine !!! I was honestly scared that’s not normal !!!"

In another video, Jayden is seen sitting on a bench, playing the piano while Spears walks behind him, exclaiming, "That's sick," and "Jesus. That's sick."

"WOW WOW WOW!!!" she writes in the caption, clearly proud of her son's talent.

Earlier this year, in January, Spears also shared a sweet moment from their winter holiday together, where Jayden was seen opening a box to reveal a long-sleeved button-down shirt.

"Nice, nice. Oh, that is nice," Spears told him as he showed her the shirt. "Wow, that's really nice. Thank you, Mom," Jayden responded.

In her caption, Spears added a message about motherhood, saying, "Mamas deserve waaay more respect than they get these days!!!"
