LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Brittany Mahomes has once again hit back at critics after she was slammed for reportedly liking Donald Trump's post.

The wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was criticized over social media for liking a post which is said to be from August 13, outlining the “2024 GOP platform.”

What did Brittany Mahomes say in her latest post?

On Tuesday, August 27, Brittany Mahomes shared a post from preacher Shane Pruitt, "Contrary to the tone of the world today… You can disagree with someone, and still love them. You have differing views, and still be kind."

At the bottom of the repost, she captioned, “Read that again!” reports People.

Meanwhile, on August 24, Mahomes wrote, "To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep-rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood. There's no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well."

Above the message, she wrote, "I mean honestly."

In April, Patrick Mahomes clarified that he will not be endorsing any presidential candidate.

"I don’t want to pressure anyone to vote for a certain president. I want people to use their voice, whoever they believe in. I want them to do the research," he told Time magazine at the time.

Interestingly, Patrick was part of LeBron James' 'More Than a Vote' campaign before the 2020 election to encourage African-Americans to participate in the voting process.

Besides, he also actively participated and donated $50,000 to a fund the Chiefs started after a mass shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory parade in February.

Brittany Mahomes' political outlook may impact her relationship with Taylor Swift

Brittany Mahomes' apparent recent support for Donald Trump's policies might have real-life consequences, particularly related to her friendship with pop star Taylor Swift who is currently dating Travis Kelce, her husband’s teammate and a friend close friend.

With Brittany Mahomes' supposed Donald Trump endorsement making waves, many speculate that Swift—an outspoken liberal who accused Trump of "stoking white supremacy" in 2020—might reconsider her friendship with her fellow Chiefs WAG.

The discovery of Brittany's social media activity has sparked rumors that this political divide could strain their bond.

Swift is expected to publicly endorse Vice President Kamala Harris in the weeks leading up to the 2024 election, likely between four to six weeks before November 5.
