Patrick Mahomes' stance on presidential election disclosed amid wife Brittany's Trump post controversy
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: As Brittany Mahomes’ potential presidential election stance resulted in huge controversy, her husband Patrick Mahomes has chosen not to be very open about his political leanings.
The 28-year-old former soccer player received backlash online lately after she liked one of the posts by Donald Trump's social media account as reported by Daily Mail.
Brittany Mahomes hits back at her haters
Brittany Mahomes slammed her haters by writing on her Instagram Story, “I mean honestly, to be a hater as an adult you have to have some deep-rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood. There's no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well.”
Many people came out in her support as a reader below a Daily Mail article wrote, “Leave her alone!!!! I hope she shuts down her social media accounts She is pregnant, no need for the garbage."
Another one commented, “She can like whomever she likes. This is still America.”
“Omg, what happened to being a free country? To try to shame someone for liking a post is depravity and scary as hello,” a third one shared.
A fourth one stated, “Brittany, I support your opinion and so do more than 50 percent of Americans!!”
Patrick Mahomes reveals his political stance
However, amid this drama, Patrick Mahomes has carefully kept his mouth shut regarding his political beliefs.

Patrick Mahomes donates money after mass shooting at Chiefs’ victory parade
Patrick Mahomes has, however, always addressed social and political issues in the past.
He was part of LeBron James's 'More Than a Vote' campaign before the 2020 election to encourage African Americans to participate in the voting process.
Besides, he also actively participated and donated $50,000 to a fund the Chiefs started after a mass shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory parade in February.
However, he did not endorse tighter gun-control laws as he explained, “I continue to educate myself. I don't want to make a quick response to something that takes a lot of education to really learn and make a swaying comment based off that. But I know we have to find a solution or some way to make this stuff stop.”
Besides, his wife Brittany shared at the time, as per TIME, “Shooting people is never the answer. Praying for Kansas City and America in general, this is rough.”
In another statement, she added, “Highly embarrassed and disappointed in this. Super Bowl wins will never be the same because of this, it’s devastating. Lives lost and people injured during something that was supposed [sic] to be a celebration. Horrible and traumatizing. So many prayers going to the families involved.”
