Caitlyn Jenner mocks Tim Walz for saying his manhood 'scares' Republicans: 'I'm more masculine than him'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Caitlyn Jenner mocked Minnesota Governor Tim Walz on the social media platform X over his recent claim of scaring Republicans by his masculinity, WhiskeyRiff reported on Wednesday, March 19.
"I’m more 'masculine' than this (clown emoji) Gov Walz," she wrote in a post, retweeting a clip from a California Governor Gavin Newsom's podcast interview featuring Tim Walz, where the latter makes the claim.
A former Olympic athlete and vocal supporter of President Donald Trump, Jenner underwent transition surgery back in 2017 and changed her name from Bruce to Caitlyn. The jibe at Walz's masculinity thus appears more scathing coming from a person who willfully shunned her own.

What did Tim Walz claim about his masculinity?
In his podcast, Gavin Newsom discussed the need to separate the notions of toxicity and masculinity, when Walz interjected, "I think some of us scare 'em. I think I scare 'em a little bit, it’s why they spend so much time on it."
While the host laughed politely, Walz doubled down saying, “No, I’m serious. Because I can fix a truck. They know I’m not b**********g on this one. I’m not putting this in people’s grill. My identity is not hunting. My identity is not football coaching. My identity is not a beard and a truck.”
He went further to suggest that he could take on most Republicans in a fight, as he noted, "I think I could kick most of their a**, I do think that. But I don’t know if we’re going to fall into that place where we challenge you to a WWE fight kind of thing.”

During the 2024 election cycle, Walz was chosen as the running mate for Democratic nominee Kamala Harris in part to help her win over the male vote. However, the results of November 5 showed that it did not happen. Trump's campaign won in the male demographic by 12 points, supported by both young and old voters.
When Newsom pointed out that the Democrats were losing ground among male voters, Walz responded, "These are bad guys though. These are bad guys. How do we push some of those guys back under a rock? You don’t think it’s racism and misogyny?”
