WILMINGTON, DELAWARE: Former president Joe Biden’s cancer diagnosis has reportedly sparked a feud between his wife, former first lady Jill Biden, and his embattled son, Hunter Biden.

Insiders claim the family is “locked in a $10 million war” over who gets control of the ex-president’s finances. The latest friction allegedly erupted after the 82-year-old revealed his prostate cancer had spread to his bones. That’s when Hunter decided to go head-to-head with his stepmother, according to Radar Online.

Apparently, Hunter accused Jill of “pushing” his ailing father to run for reelection despite his health issues. One insider told the outlet, “Hunter sees most of the blame going to her and wants to make a play to become his father's protector — giving him control of his affairs and his finances.”

Jill Biden accused of 'elder abuse' for letting Joe Biden run for reelection

While Joe Biden battles cancer, Jill Biden has been accused of “elder abuse.”

Former Washington Post columnist Sally Quinn slammed Jill and Joe Biden’s team for letting him continue on the campaign trail.

“The president of the United States has the best medical care in the world, or should, and it should’ve been diagnosed a long time ago. I think everybody was horrified that he was put in a position where he was allowed to run, by his staff and by his wife. She wasn’t protecting him... I thought it was elder abuse," Quinn said during an appearance on Tara Palmeri's podcast.

Now it looks like Hunter is seizing the moment. According to another insider, “He sees the blowback on Jill as an opportunity to make a play to be the conservator of his father’s finances.”

But even though he’s gunning for her now, Jill was apparently the one pushing her husband to pardon Hunter during his legal woes. The former commander-in-chief reportedly refused time and time again. Sources said Jill had her own reasons for the push, namely, “to maintain favor with her wealthy and powerful husband.”

Hunter Biden’s money problems aren’t a secret

It's safe to say that Hunter Biden’s financial woes have been public fodder for years now. In fact, insiders believe his money troubles might just be fueling his sudden interest in his father's estate.

He’s been open about the crisis, too. In court papers filed back in March, Hunter admitted he didn’t even have enough funds to keep fighting a lawsuit over that infamous laptop.

With whispers of a $10 million estate on the line, Hunter’s ready to take the reins. One source close to the situation believes Hunter is motivated to be the man of the house.

Hunter and Jill Biden's tensions

From the outside, the Biden clan might seem like a warm and loving political dynasty. But things might be a lot different behind closed doors.

According to messages allegedly found on Hunter’s laptop, his relationship with Jill has been anything but perfect.

Hunter lashed out in one scathing message to Hallie Biden, his late brother Beau Biden’s widow, “F*** my stepmother for always being as much of a selfish, silly entitled c*** as you.”

In another eyebrow raising exchange with his uncle James Biden, Hunter called Jill a “f****** moron,” and added, “So go f**k yourself, Jill. Let’s all agree I don’t like you anymore than you like me.”

Amid Biden's health struggles, sources say the tension between Jill and Hunter is only escalating. “You are going to have the two biggest Bidens going after one another over who is responsible for the elder abuse. Jill is going to pull every stop out to preserve her reputation, her control of the estate, and the money,” one insider dished.

Another source claimed Jill’s even thinking about ditching Joe if it means she can secure her cut of the Biden fortune. “If she thinks divorce will get her half or more of the cash, she’d take that in a heartbeat."
