Now, Candace Owens has shared her two cents on the issue, as reported by OK! Magazine.
The 35-year-old commentator said on her YouTube show ‘Candace’, “Blake Lively has ended modern feminism by being a modern feminist,” before asserting, “Otherwise known as being unbearable.”
Continuing her attack, she mentioned that “modern feminism is an army of spoiled brats that have never dealt with anything in their lives.”
Owens then played a clip of a 2016 interview featuring the ‘Gossip Girl’ actress, where she appeared rude to the interviewer Norwegian journalist Kjersti Flaa after she asked her about the costumes Blake Lively wore in ‘Cafe Society’.
Commenting on Lively's response, which made the interviewer feel "awful," the 35-year-old author reportedly added, “That is your brain on feminism." She added that it was a valid question from the journalist since she was interviewing the cast about a period film.
"By reacting like that she leans into the oldest and truest stereotype about women - overemotional - and makes another woman feel like absolute crap for asking a question," Owens stated.
