WASHINGTON, DC: Conspiracy theorist Candace Owens, known for her theories surrounding Charlie Kirk’s death, publicly mocked Erika Kirk in a sizzle reel while showcasing her 2025 podcast highlights.

The jab comes just weeks after the two met in person for a 4.5-hour conversation.

Candace Owens posted a 2025 recap, compiling monthly highlights from January to December to celebrate her independent podcast 'Candace' reaching the #1 global ranking in 2025. The highlights showcased her unfiltered discussions on topics ranging from Trump events and Israel controversies to interviews with other high-profile guests.

In her post caption, Owens wrote, “2025 was one helluva year!” She added, “Beyond grateful to all of you who tuned into the podcast and took us to #1 globally!” Owens also teased an explosive story for 2026: “Can’t wait to get back on air in 2026, as I plan to break another explosive story.” She sarcastically thanked her critics, saying, “Because I’m always one step ahead of my haters—whom I am grateful to as well!”

Her sizzle reel paired upbeat music with clips from the show, including a brief moment of Owens crying over Charlie Kirk’s death set to rap music. She also displayed unflattering images of Kirk’s former Turning Point USA colleagues, whom she has suggested were involved in a conspiracy against him. Ben Shapiro and Tim Pool also appeared in the podcast highlights.

Owens also juxtaposed a clip of Tyler Robinson, the man accused of murdering Kirk, with one of Lee Harvey Oswald, John F Kennedy’s assassin, hinting that both were patsies. A few moments later, a clip showed Erika Kirk asking Owens to stop spreading conspiracy theories about her husband’s death. Owens responded simply, “No.”

During a mid-December appearance on Fox News’ Outnumbered, Erika Kirk urged Owens to stop implicating her husband’s close friends in his death. “Come after me, call me names — I don’t care. Call me what you want, go down that rabbit hole — whatever,” Kirk told Harris Faulkner. “But when you go after my family, my Turning Point USA family, my Charlie Kirk Show family, when you go after the people that I love, and you’re making hundreds and thousands of dollars every single episode going after the people that I love because somehow they’re in on this? No.”

Candace Owens says Erika Kirk lost the right to set privacy boundaries

Candace Owens recently pushed back on Erika Kirk’s privacy plea, arguing that Erika lost the right to set boundaries when she placed a camera over her husband’s casket and shared it on Instagram.

Owens also claimed that Erika exhibits what she calls “Meghan Markle syndrome,” describing it as seeking privacy only when convenient while enjoying the spotlight when it benefits one’s personal brand.

“So, objectively, I agree with what she’s saying,” Owens said. “Okay. But subjectively, because we are dealing with the subject of Erica Kirk, uh, and what transpired immediately following Charlie's assassination, this is going to be read as Meghan Markle syndrome. Okay, Meghan Markle syndrome, where you want privacy when you want it, but you want publicity whenever you want it.”

Owens reminded viewers of the widely circulated moment when Erika had someone record her crying over Charlie’s casket. “This is the same person who recorded had somebody record her over Charlie Kirk's casket. That was not our business, truly,” Owens stated.
