CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: Chris Cuomo has reacted to Megyn Kelly’s explicit rant against him as she spoke about President Donald Trump’s executive order prohibiting transgender student-athletes from women’s sports.

A few days ago, the host of ‘The Megyn Kelly Show’ had slammed Cuomo for not liking Trump’s ban.

Calling him “cretin,” she added, “So, go f*** yourself if you don’t like that.”

Chris Cuomo asks Megyn Kelly if she is 'setting an example' for her daughters

However, now the television journalist and anchor at NewsNation made fun of Megyn Kelly’s education by noting that cursing him was not a “good use of her law degree,” as reported by MEDIAITE.

He continued on February 7, “While supposedly setting an example of what is okay for her daughters to say and do, she tells me to go bleep myself. That’s the way you want your daughters to see and hear things? I guess so.”

“And not just because it’s what Mama says to get paid, but it’s what passes for tough political speech these days. That’s passion. Go eff yourself. Good use of the law degree,” the 54-year-old further noted.

Chris Cuomo also mentioned that he’s asked Megyn Kelly to come on his show but he knows “she wasn’t going to come on.”

“I invited her on because I’m sure she does care about her daughter and who they play against and their safety and their opportunities. So do I,” he explained, before adding, “And I wanted her to learn what else is at play with these kids from this doctor. Maybe she knows, and she doesn’t care. Maybe she doesn’t.”

During his rant on his primetime show, the former ABC News chief law and justice correspondent even claimed that he took a stand for Kelly when she was terminated from NBC in 2018.

“I didn’t like how happy people were when she got let go. I disagreed with what happened there, but I didn’t think celebrating her failure was okay. And no, I don’t expect her to treat me the same way,” he shared.

Concluding his monologue, Cuomo stated, “I’d still rather have a conversation with her in front of all of you to let you see what the actual disagreement is about it.”

The 78-year-old leader said, “With this executive order, the war on women’s sports is over.”

Besides, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that Trump “does expect the Olympic Committee and the NCAA to no longer allow men to compete in women’s sports.”

“He expects these organizations to comply with this federal executive order,” she added.
