Christina Hall calls ex Josh Hall 'insecure' after accusing him of transferring $35K to another account
NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA: Christina Hall is not happy with the state of matters with her estranged husband Josh Hall as she called him an “insecure man.”
The HGTV star, who is fighting a divorce battle with her husband of three years, finally broke her silence regarding the ongoing divorce proceedings as she took to her Instagram story to slam her ex officially.
The 41-year-old star, who recently accused her ex-husband of transferring $35,000 from her bank account to his own, took to her social media to slam Josh, per Daily Mail.

The TV personality wrote two scathing posts about her ex as she called him an “insecure man” just a few weeks after filing for divorce. The couple’s marriage came to a shocking end nearly three years after they tied the knot in 2021.
On Thursday, July 25, the HGTV alum wrote on her Instagram Story, “Over here waiting for the typical Hired PR rep speech of "how was I blind-sided and how I'm working on myself and taking time to heal at her ranch…”
She continued, “Meanwhile I'm over here not as nice and quiet as I used to be.”
Christina’s fiery rant against her ex-husband came at the heels of last week’s development where the mother-of-three accused her ex of taking $35,000 of her money.
Referring to the money, she added on another slide, “I have worked my a*s off to build this life for myself and my children and anyone who would try and take what they don't deserve/what they did NOT work for should be ashamed.”
“An insecure man with a large ego can sure try and derail you - but, "still rise"...,” continued the disparaged star.
She added, “For those that aren't aware...divorces do not happen overnight.. & there is always a breaking point,” while concluding, “This one is personal.........”
Christina Hall accuses her husband of taking her money
The estranged couple filed for divorce earlier in July with Christina noting the date of their separation as July 7 while Joshua cited it as July 8.
However, the discontent between the ex-spouses doesn’t end here as Josh has asked for alimony from Christina with the TV star refusing to give him her money.
Moreover, the situation has been rendered complicated because of the absence of a prenuptial agreement between the duo. Josh is not only asking for alimony but is also asking for equally splitting their community property including their $12.6 million mansion located in Newport Beach.
According to the legal documents obtained by ET, Christina has accused her husband of transferring money that comes from her rental properties.
Per the legal documents, she wrote, “Josh was able to divert over $35,000 of my separate property rental income into his account.”
She continued in the legal docs, “I am asking for Josh to account for the funds taken and return them to me as those funds are specifically used to pay any loans, obligations, property taxes, insurance, and maintenance for these rental properties.”
She claimed that the money came from her various rental properties around Tennessee, which her ex was allegedly able to obtain by sending a text message to the property manager on July 8.
Christina shared the screenshot of Josh’s text message, that read, “Hi. For June payments, can we please get it sent to a different account when it's time? Thank you,” hinting falsely that he and his wife were together on the money dealing.
The reality TV star, however, said, she had no indication of the transaction until July 21, stating that she “had no personal contact with Josh on July 8, 2024.”
She added, “I would not have asked him to send himself my money the day after I told him we are getting divorced.”
Christina explained that the property manager green-lit the transaction “believing I had authorized the change of accounts and asked for account details and Josh provided his own Wells Fargo Bank account.”
The documents were filed in Orange County Superior Court in California, with Christina requesting the judge to order Josh - who is a real estate professional - to return the money. She also asked to be able to use the Newport Beach, California, residence exclusively, citing it was bought from the money obtained through the sale of a house in Dana Point that she owned.
Meanwhile, Christina's split from Joshua marks her third divorce in ten years. Previously, she was married to Tarek El Moussa from 2009 until 2018, and to Ant Anstead from 2018 through 2021.
With El Moussa, she shares two children Taylor, 13, and Brayden, eight, and with Anstead, another son named Hudson, four.
