Christina Hall mocked for joking 'you will not be my fourth ex-husband' to men sending her letters
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA: It’s been barely a month since the HGTV star Christina Hall and her estranged husband Josh Hall filed for divorce.
Although Christina’s divorce from Josh might be her third split in five years, it has not stopped her from joking about her “fourth ex-husband.”
Despite making a subtle dig at her own love life, the joke didn’t land well, as fans on the internet began urging her to pause her dating life and take time for self-reflection.
Christina Hall gives a PSA on Instagram
On August 8, the real estate investor expressed her thoughts on the people reaching out to her with various propositions and also posted a public service announcement for them.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, the 41-year-old mother-of-three commented, “Dear fellow realtors – please stop mailing and dropping expensive packets, I am not listing my home… But if I were to list it, I would list it myself as I am a real estate agent,” per Heavy.
Later, she added a disclaimer for the men reportedly sending her handwritten and typed letters in an attempt to gain her attention. She also warned them that they would not become her fourth husband.
However, Christina also made a quip about a potential fourth failed marriage, saying, “Dear men. Your handwritten/typed letters are cute but no you will not be my fourth ex-husband.”
Recently, Christina decided to separate from her third husband Josh Hall after filing for divorce in July. She had previously been married twice, first to Tarek El Moussa and then to Ant Anstead.
Despite her quip, she expressed gratitude for the support of her fans. Christina wrote, “Thank you all for the advice about my children and marriages. I really appreciate it.”
Previously it was reported that Josh was “blindsided” by their messy divorce. However, when a fan mentioned this in the comment section of one of her Instagram posts, Christina responded, saying, “Get your facts straight Hollywood. Josh filed for divorce. ... I was the one who was actually 'blindsided,'" per Nicki Swift.
Josh also broke his social media silence with a candid post on Instagram.
He said, “I prefer privacy, especially during something as life-changing as a divorce I did not ask for. I will not publicly badmouth anyone as people have families, friends and others who respect and love them. Unfortunately, the internet is forever.”

Josh added, “We are real humans, this is our life and I am not here to entertain people I don’t know with my private matters. Those details will be handled fairly behind closed doors with our respective counsels in due time. Those who know each of us, know who we are.”
Fans mock Christina Hall as she jokes about potential fourth marriage
Fans on the internet urged Christina to take a step back and reflect. Several even suggested that she should take more time with her next marriage, should she choose to pursue one.
One of the social media users criticized her, saying, "When you have three failed marriages within five years, maybe the problem is you and not the men."
