The exciting moment happened just days after Swift shared a 'back to office' video while celebrating her return to the US for her hit 'Eras Tour'. 

The tour began in March 2023 and had seen her perform at sold-out venues around the world. To mark her return to the US, Swift posted a video of herself walking into an empty stadium just hours before her show in Miami on October 18.

Cyndi Lauper channels Taylor Swift in her 'back in the office' video 

In a video shared by Taylor Swift on October 18, the ‘Bad Blood’ singer was seen wearing a mustard yellow sweater and light-wash jeans, holding one of her three cats, Olivia Benson, in her arms.

She posted the video of herself walking into an empty venue just hours before her concert in Miami, set to the song ‘Whatchu Kno About Me’ by GloRilla and Sexyy Red. The post included the caption, "Back in the office." Swift's return was celebrated by her fans after a nearly two-month break.

Days later, Cyndi Lauper recreated Swift's video, generating excitement among her fans ahead of her shows. Lauper shared a video of herself walking into a nearly empty venue just hours before her concert on October 26.

Lauper is currently on her ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour’ with concerts scheduled for Saturday, October 26, in Boston, Massachusetts, and Sunday, October 27, in Washington, DC.

In her video, Lauper sported a bright pink wig, similar to how Swift held her cat. She also used the same audio from Swift's video, captioning it, "Back in the office (h/t @taylorswift) #Boston tonight and #DC tomorrow with @amandapearlshires."

Additionally, Lauper's caption included information about the wig she held in the video.
