LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Despite being the lead actress in the recently released 'Madame Web,' Dakota Johnson appears to be worried about her future career prospects due to the film's disappointing box office performance.

According to insiders, Dakota, aged 34, is anxious about how the underwhelming performance of her latest project could affect her future prospects in the entertainment industry, per Radar Online.

Dakota has good reason to be concerned about her professional future in light of 'Madame Web's lackluster performance, with challenges in the entertainment industry given the film's appalling 13% Rotten Tomatoes rating and harsh critic reviews.

Negative reviews of 'Madame Web' might impact Dakota Johnson's Hollywood career

'Madame Web' scored a pitiful 13% on Rotten Tomatoes, despite having a $80 million budget and creating a lot of hype about its debut (including a recent press tour).

Reviewers did not hold back when it came to criticizing the sci-fi action movie. The movie was criticized by a reviewer who called it "a torturous saga that haplessly spins about in circles."

"Madame Web isn't as bad as you've heard. It's so much worse! Dakota Johnson's Spidey-adjacent misadventure is the Cats of superhero movies," scoffed another user.

Dakota seems to be experiencing challenging times, evident from the lackluster response and unfavorable reviews, and she appears to be aware of the situation.

Dakota, who previously faced criticism for her roles in 'Fifty Shades of Grey' and its sequels, is reportedly worried that her lack of success with 'Madame Web' could further hinder people from taking her seriously.

The insider has issued a dire warning, asserting that recovering from a disaster of this magnitude will indeed be challenging for her and that the failure of the big-budget flop could potentially devastate her career completely.

"With all of the bad reviews, Dakota is petrified Madame Web could do even worse and become the biggest Marvel flop of all time," said the insider. "That's the last thing she needs on her resume. No one may hire her after this!"

A seasoned Tinseltown PR representative claimed to the National Enquirer, "People say she was beside herself, sobbing on her boyfriend Chris Martin's shoulder and that her mom and dad were worried sick about her."

The source further commented, "Dakota has desperately tried to shed the nepo baby tag for as long as she's been acting," referring to her renowned parents Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, as well as her stepfather, Antonio Banderas.

Dakota recently shared her worst filming experience with shortened screen time in 'The Office'

While the unfavorable reviews of her latest film may represent a new low in Dakota's career, the actress has recently been reflecting on what she described as one of her most dreadful filming experiences, which occurred before 'Fifty Shades of Grey' propelled her to fame.

During an appearance on 'Late Night with Seth Meyers' on Wednesday, February 7, Dakota admitted that filming 'The Office' series finale was incredibly frustrating, despite her genuine love for the show.

"That was honestly the worst time of my life," Dakota exclaimed on the show.

"I love that show so much, and they were like, ‘Do you want to be in the series finale?’ and I was like, ‘Of course,’ thinking that I’d show up for, like, half a day."

Talking with Seth Meyers, the excited actress said, "I was there for two weeks and I’m barely in the f**king show."

She elaborated on the dynamics of the 2013 season, noting, "There were strange dynamics that had persisted for the past decade. Some individuals didn't communicate with each other."

"As I came in, enthusiastic about being there, nobody wanted to engage with me. Nobody cared... I found myself relegated to the background of scenes, just faxing things," she added.
