LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Deborra-Lee Furness is reportedly upset with her friend Blake Lively for siding with her ex-husband Hugh Jackman after their divorce, the Daily Mail reported on Sunday, January 12.

Furness, a 69-year-old producer, was married to the Jackman, 56, for 27 years. They have long been friends with Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds.

In September 2023, Furness and Jackman announced their separation, after which the latter was speculated to have moved on with co-star Sutton Foster. Jackman and Foster finally went official with their relationship earlier in January 2025.

Deborah-Lee Furness upset with Blake Lively

Deborah-Lee Furness reportedly believes both Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds to have known Jackman's involvement with Sutton Foster before they split up. The fact that they possibly kept the information to themselves has infuriated her.

An insider told Women's Day, "She knew they would side with Hugh when they split, but what has disturbed Deb is the very real possibility that Ryan and Blake must have known about Sutton."

"Truth be told it was always difficult for Deb to bond with Blake because they’re so different but she felt they got on just fine," they added.

Though Deb would never wish ill will on anyone, a source said, “Watching this legal nightmare unfold around Blake’s latest film, and how Ryan and Hugh had to skip the Globes because of it, must feel just a bit karmic.”

Deborah-Lee Furness feels ready to 'move on'

According to the Daily Mail, Deborah-Lee Furness' frustration with Blake Lively was reported days after she saw photographs of Jackman and Foster together, which apparently left her "relieved" for having the correct intuition about her ex-husband.

"Deborra-Lee feels a sense of relief, to be honest with you," a source told the publication.

"She trusted her intuition and her intuition was right. She finally feels at ease after getting confirmation that her fears and suspicions were warranted. She can now fully close this chapter and move on," they added.

Blake Lively dealing with more feud rumors, this time with Anna Kendrick

Blake Lively is currently dealing with her lawsuit against her 'It Ends With Us' co-star Justin Baldoni and has not yet commented on the split between Jackman and Furness.

Apart from the ‘It Ends With Us’ drama, online rumors claim that a feud between Anna Kendrick and Lively has indefinitely shelved the forthcoming sequel to 'A Simple Favor'.

On Friday, January 10, an X user named @Oflululemon claimed that director Paul Feig’s highly anticipated sequel to his 2018 crime thriller had been “derailed” by “growing tensions.”

“Despite glowing test screenings, Blake Lively’s refusal to promote — amid her messy legal battle with Justin Baldoni — and growing tensions with Anna Kendrick have derailed the sequel,” the post read. “Anna is furious. Paul Feig is disappointed. Hollywood is in shock.”

Feig chose to immediately shut down those baseless rumors as he tweeted, "This is total BS. Sorry. The movie is finished and coming out soon. Don't believe anything you read on social media these days."

It seems that Furness' alleged feud with Lively can be taken with a pinch of salt as neither of the parties have come ahead and made any statements proving the claims Furness seems to have shared with insiders.

When it comes to Lively, the 'Gossip Girl' alum has several celebrities and former collaborators come out in her support, including Feig, who calls her “one of the most professional, creative, collaborative, talented and kind people I’ve ever worked with.”
