Deborra-Lee Furness furious as Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively kept lips sealed amid Hugh Jackman's affair

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hugh Jackman's ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness is reportedly furious with their mutual friends Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively for not telling her that Jackman was cheating on her, Radar published on Friday, November 29.

Jackman, 56, and Furness, 69, split up after being married for 27 years in September 2023. Their separation was claimed to be "amicable" by People at the time.

Since then, it was revealed that the 'Wolverine' actor has been involved with Sutton Foster, 49, his co-star from the stage production of 'The Music Man.'

One of the power couples in Hollywood, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively were a long time friend of Hugh Jackman as well as his ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness. Jackman and Reynolds net on the sets of the 2009 film 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' and has been the best of friends ever since. The two even met up regularly with their partners for dinner.

However, things took a turn as Jackman began his affair with Sutton and Reynolds and Blake failed to give Furness a heads-up.

An insider source told Radar that Furness found out Reynolds and Lively "could sense something was brewing between Hugh and Sutton Foster. But they kept their lips sealed out of loyalty to Hugh. Despite their longtime relationship with Deb, they chose to cover for him!"

"Now she is seething with rage over being the last to know about the clandestine affair," continued the source, adding "Deb feels blindsided. She has a memory like a steel trap and isn't afraid to use it!"

"Debs feels cheated by all three because someone could have told her what was happening and they all chose to keep their mouths shut," the source further revealed.

Hugh Jackman braces himself for a legal battle

With a net worth of approximately $290 million, Hugh Jackman is preparing himself for a tough legal battle ahead as Deborra-Lee Furness is reportedly "lawyering up" after calling out his affair with Sutton Foster.

While they separated on friendly terms last year, Furness has gone on to confirm that the real reason for their split was the rumor of Jackman's affair.

"The starting point for any divorce without a prenup is 50% of all the assets and cash so Hugh could be in for a big payout to Deborra," a legal source told Radar.

"He’s bracing himself for a legal onslaught because it now seems that there was some crossover in his relationships with Sutton and Deborra. Things could get very ugly, and very expensive, very quickly," the source added.

Foster co-starred with Jackman in the stage production of 'The Music Man' from December 2021 to January 2023 which is when he is rumored to have fallen for her.
