The documentary also features Olympic swimmer Cate Campbell, who says in a clip from the film, “Australia is the world champion of skin cancer. This is not a title that we want,” reported 9news.
Filmmaker Mike Hill added in the documentary that “two in every three Australians will get skin cancers in their lifetime and that is such an alarming statistic".
'Conquering Skin Cancer' will debut in cinemas from November 20.
Hugh Jackman tests negative for skin cancer
Hugh Jackman revealed in April 2023 that he had tested negative for skin cancer after undergoing two biopsies.
He announced on his Instagram Story that his “biopsies came back", as reported by The Independent.
The 'Logan' star said he had tested “NEGATIVE!!!” before adding, “Thank you ALL for the love. I feel it! And to the media for helping get this very important message out.”
He took the opportunity to urge fans to use sunscreen. “Please remember to wear sunscreen with a high level of SPF (no matter the season). Love. HJ."

During the same time, in another Instagram post, Hugh Jackman revealed that he underwent two biopsies because potential cancerous cells were found in his skin.
He said, “I just went to my doctor, Dr Iron, who's awesome. And she just saw little things, could be or could not be basal cells in her opinion. She doesn't know. I'll find out in two or three days, and as soon as I know I'll let you know.”

“Just to remind you, basal cell -- in the world of skin cancers -- is the least dangerous of them all,” Jackman added.
“No matter how much you want a tan, trust me, trust me, trust me. This is all stuff that happened 25 years ago, it's coming out now. Put some screen on, you'll still have an incredible time out there. Please be safe.”
Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster's relationship was 'Broadway’s worst-kept secret'
The documentary where Hugh Jackman opens up about his cancer scare comes at a time when it has been alleged that his relationship with Broadway star Sutton Foster, 49, cost him his marriage with Deborra-Lee Furness.
A mole spilled, as per Us Weekly, “Sutton and Hugh’s relationship is the reason Hugh and Deb got divorced. A lot of people on Broadway knew, and we kept it quiet because both of them are so nice and great people. Everyone respected their privacy. But there was an affair and overlap.”
Jackman and Foster worked together in 'The Music Man' — the 2022 Broadway revival.
They reportedly developed a strong bond immediately as the 49-year-old actress shared on an episode of ‘Live with Kelly and Ryan’ that she and the actor used to sit and chat with each other before each show.
“It’s such a wonderful thing. We just talk and catch up on our day. That’s been one of the best parts of the whole thing that I’ve made this wonderful new friend,” Foster added.
Regarding Jackman's ex-wife Furness, a tipster claimed, “Deborra-Lee was blindsided when she found out about the affair through the run of the show."
“It was apparently Broadway’s worst-kept secret, and Deborra-Lee was the last to know.”
