NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Amid swirling romance rumors, Broadway stars Hugh Jackman, 56, and Sutton Foster, 49, appear closer than ever, reportedly "spending all of their free time together."

Both are in the process of divorcing their respective partners, sparking further speculation about the nature of their bond.

An insider recently shared with Page Six that the two are indeed inseparable and have even fallen "in love."

"They spend all of their free time together," said the source. "They are a regular couple, they are just in private."

Though rumors continue to spread, Jackman and Foster have kept their relationship low-key and away from the public eye, a move that has fueled ongoing speculation about their closeness.

Some insiders even went so far as to state, "They are 100 percent together and are in love and want to spend the rest of their lives together."

Hints of their connection emerged while the pair worked side by side in 'The Music Man' on Broadway from December 2021 to January 2023.

In the close-knit Broadway community, rumors began to surface that Jackman and Foster had become more than just colleagues.

Amidst these sentiments, Jackman and Foster reportedly go out of their way to keep their relationship under wraps. "They are still together. They go out of their way to hide it, but it’s common knowledge," one source claimed.

A particularly endearing detail recently resurfaced from a 2022 interview in which Jackman spoke about his admiration for Foster, calling her a "dream."

Reflecting on his return to musical theater after 18 years, he told New York Theatre Guide, "I've been lucky enough to do films, and I've done some plays, but there's nothing like doing a musical on Broadway."

He went on to specifically praise Foster, saying, "Sutton Foster is just a dream."

Foster previously told Vogue of working with Jackman, “He has an impeccable reputation of being the hardest working man, incredibly kind, and generous — and all of that is true. He disarms everyone, and he doesn’t make anything about him.”

She shared that her co-star had unexpectedly become one of her closest friends, revealing to the fashion magazine, “He’s now one of my best friends, which was a surprise. You usually go into these things hoping you’ll get along, but we just spent Memorial Day with our families. It’s really fun to make new friends after 40.”

Sutton Foster and Hugh Jackman’s romance heats up after their individual separations

These reports follow Sutton Foster’s recent filing for divorce from her husband of ten years, 'Ocean's Eleven' screenwriter Ted Griffin.

She filed for a mutual divorce in New York County Supreme Court on October 22, as per Daily Mail. 

Foster and Griffin tied the knot in a private Santa Barbara ceremony in October 2014. Following years of fertility struggles, the couple adopted their daughter Emily in 2017.

Since their split, Jackman and Foster have been spotted spending time together, with sources suggesting they've become "inseparable."

This romance speculation also comes not long after Jackman announced his separation from his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness with whom he shared nearly three decades of marriage, as per People. 

The couple who separated in September 2023 have two adopted children, 24-year-old Oscar and 19-year-old Ava.

In an exclusive statement with People, they shared, "We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth."
