Diddy's son King Combs faces backlash for promoting 'positivity' on rapper's Instagram account
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Sean 'Diddy' Combs' son Christian 'King' Combs has come under fire for using the incarcerated rapper's Instagram to promote "positivity" in the face of his trafficking and racketeering accusations.
Christian, 27, whose mother is the late Kim Porter, gave an explanation of the move's rationale in a video that he shared on Diddy's Instagram on Wednesday, November 6.
The 55-year-old rap mogul is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn after being arrested in September on federal accusations of trafficking, conspiracy, and racketeering.
Christian 'King' Combs takes over Diddy's IG to spread 'positive things' rapper did
Taking to his rap mogul father's Instagram account, which boasts 19.8 million followers, Christian Combs said, "Right now I'm taking over my pop's Instagram. We gonna be posting videos, spreading good energy, taking y'all down memory lane, all the positive things he did."
"So stay tuned and watch this. We love you pops, happy birthday," he added.

Fans swiftly poured vitriol into the comment section amid Diddy's legal troubles and hours after Donald Trump defeated Kamala Harris in the US presidential election, per Daily Mail.
Christian's post came after Diddy's children contacted him on Monday, November 4, to wish him a happy 55th birthday, breaking his silence from behind bars.
A video posted by his 30-year-old son Justin Dior Combs showed Diddy telling his kids that he is pleased with them all and that he is "looking forward to seeing them soon" after they sang him a happy birthday song.
"I love y'all, I can't wait to see y'all. I'm proud of y'all, especially the girls, all of y'all, but just for being strong, thank you for being strong," Diddy remarked cheerfully.

Christian Combs faces backlash for 'disrespectfully' showing off Diddy's 'negative things'
Fans did not hold back in their responses to Christian Combs' post. Several commentators voiced their annoyance, citing the continuous public censure of Diddy as a result of his ongoing accusations and scandals.
One wrote, "We don’t trust you either Lil Diddy," while another added, "Your pops done bro, he ain't seeing the light of the day anytime soon."
Another remarked, "Bruh your timing is absolutely terrible," and another added, "Kamala just lost not right now"
A user explained: "What people fail to realize is, he can love his dad and support him to the fullest. But don’t try to push a narrative on us like, the evidence, footage, outcries, lawsuits and subliminals for years are excusable. Support him, love him but don’t try to get us to do the same."
Another wrote: "No. We saw him stomp on Cassie in 4K. Go to hell," referring to Diddy's assault on ex-Cassie Ventura in the hotel corridor.
Meanwhile, an X (formerly Twitter) user wrote, "Someone make an instagram to take us down memory lane and show off all the negative things he did."
Another added, "@Kingcombs disrespectfully, no one gives a f**k about your father. He’s getting what he deserves!"
"None of that positive s**t gonna outweigh the negative s**t he did lol," chimed in one.
One added, "Bro gonna have to do a deep forensic search to sift through all the freak off footage to find good stuff on Diddy."
"He wanna be Diddy so bad. Like I get it he’s your pops but man please find your own identity," said another.
