Eagles legend Jason Kelce showcases dramatic weight transformation months after retiring from NFL
HAVERFORD, PENNSYLVANIA: Jason Kelce, the iconic Philadelphia Eagles center, is turning heads with his dramatic weight loss following his retirement from the NFL.
The six-time NFL All-Pro and fan-favorite, 36, announced his retirement after an illustrious 13-season career in March.
During his playing days, Jason carried a solid 295 pounds (134 kgs), which is typical for an NFL lineman.
However, since stepping away from professional football, Jason has been on a mission to shed pounds and embrace a healthier lifestyle, as per The US Sun.
His measures seem to be working as he looked noticeably slimmer during his recent appearance on SportsRadio 94WIP's 'Morning Show'.
Jason Kelce will join the @WIPMorningShow every Thursday from 7:30-8:30am during the NFL season taking your calls and talking Birds. 🔥

Jason Kelce actively working toward slimming down to 250 pounds
After announcing his retirement, Jason Kelce wasted no time sharing his desire to lose weight.
Speaking candidly on the 'New Heights' podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, Jason expressed his excitement about this new chapter in his life.
He revealed that he was actively working towards slimming down to around 250 pounds, saying, "My goal is 250 lbs."
At the time, Jason shared that he had already begun to see some results, though his progress had been momentarily stalled due to indulging in some sweet treats.
"This last week, I got down to like 285 because I knew I was doing this, and then I had cake like three days in a row," he admitted with a laugh.
Despite the temporary setback, his commitment to his weight loss journey remained steadfast.
By June, Jason's efforts had paid off, as he revealed to GQ that he had dropped nearly 20 pounds. "Right now, I'm about 277," said the NFL icon during the interview.
Acknowledging how much better he already felt, the father of three shared, "My back already feels better. My knees already feel better."
For the former football star, these physical improvements were a motivating factor in continuing his journey toward his ultimate goal weight.
"So another 20 pounds, hopefully, will make that much more adept at playing with my children," added Jason, highlighting how the transformation was also benefiting his personal life as a father.
Jason Kelce is also making sure he doesn't lose too much weight
However, Jason Kelce has been clear that he doesn’t want to lose too much weight, specifically avoiding what he refers to as the "bobblehead" effect that some offensive linemen experience after retirement.
"I think a lot of guys, especially offensive linemen, they lose too much weight, and then they look like bobbleheads because their neck gets so small, but their head stays the same size," joked.
His plan is to maintain a balance, staying "big and happy" without going overboard. "I’ll still be able to have that stature a little bit," assured the 36-year-old.
