LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jason Kelce is bracing himself for a hilarious clash of worlds as he confesses to telling his daughters that cats are "poisonous"—a ruse he hopes will keep felines out of their home. This playful deception may soon come to light, especially since Kelce’s daughters are set to meet Taylor Swift’s beloved cats.

On the latest episode of his podcast, Jason revealed his unconventional strategy and sparked a flurry of amused reactions online. Fans are already imagining the comical moment when his daughters discover the truth about cats, especially with Swift’s cats waiting to make their debut, per People.

On his podcast, 'New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce,' the retired NFL star, 36, admitted he has been telling his daughters that cats are "poisonous" to avoid bringing a cat into their home.

On the September 3 episode of his podcast, Jason revealed his strategy: “You know what my latest plan to divert our family from getting a cat is? I just keep telling our girls that cats are poisonous,” Jason said, referring to his daughters.

Travis asked, "Why the f**k would you tell them that?"

Jason then explained, “So that they don’t want cats. And I don’t have to deal with having a cat and making them terrified.”

“That’s sick,” Travis responded.

To which unfazed, Jason said, “It's whatever. They'll find out — I think lying to your kids is important,” he joked.

“Not in this regard,” Travis laughed. “They're gonna go over a friend's house and f*****g scream bloody murder because they see a cat.”

“That's fine. That sounds like that person's house problem,” Jason concluded.

This amusing revelation prompted a fan on X (formerly known as Twitter) to imagine the scenario of Jason’s girls meeting Swift’s cats, Meredith, Benjamin, and Olivia. Notably, he shares daughters Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 2, and Bennett, 17 months, with his wife, Kylie Kelce.

One user tweeted, "Jason Kelce has been telling his kids cats are poisonous so they don't have to get one?? LMAO Get Tree Paine on the phone 😭," referring to Swift’s manager. Another user wondered, "And what is Jason's plan when they meet Auntie TayTay's cats?"

Jason responded, "It's gonna be hilarious."

Taylor Swift has been in a relationship with Jason’s brother, Travis Kelce, 34, since last summer.
