WASHINGTON, DC: Super Bowl champs or not, the real MVP of the Philadelphia Eagles’ White House visit on Monday, April 28, might’ve been rookie Eli Ricks — not for his play on the field, but for openly crushing on Ivanka Trump.

While several Philadelphia Eagles stars ditched the ceremonial trip to DC, the 23-year-old Ricks showed up and went full fanboy over Ivanka, the eldest daughter of President Donald Trump.

“Donald Trump daughter is beautiful damn,” he declared on X (formerly Twitter).

“After seeing her in person Ivanka is exactly my type," he later added.

Ricks even reposted photos of Ivanka from the event.

Half the team ghosts White House, but Donald Trump takes the high ground

The Philadelphia Eagles may have won the Super Bowl, but their team attendance looked more like a preseason walkthrough. NBC News reported that a “sizable portion” of the squad skipped the White House stopover, with officials blaming “scheduling conflicts," the Irish Star reported.

Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts was among the absentees, but that didn’t stop Trump from hyping him up. After calling running back Saquon Barkley a “handsome guy” and celebrating his monster season, Trump turned his praise to Hurts.

“Complementing Saquon's historic season was an incredible year for a star quarterback, Jalen Hurts,” the president told the crowd. “He really played, he had a great season and a great game. Finished with 32 [combined passing and rushing] touchdowns on the year, turning in one stellar performance after another, terrific guy.”

Trump even admitted he thought the Eagles would lose, saying he predicted a Kansas City Chiefs victory.

Eli Ricks fawns over the Trumps, Saquon Barkley pushes back against haters

After crushing on Ivanka, Ricks's fans on social media were either gassing him up for his boldness or dragging him for ogling a married 43-year-old mom of three.

Ivanka, of course, is happily married to Jared Kushner, and Ricks is fresh out of college.

Meanwhile, Barkley, who met with Trump before the event to tee off with him at his New Jersey golf club the day before the ceremony, pushed back against the backlash he received for his day out with the commander-in-chief.

“Lol some people are really upset cause I played golfed and flew to the White House with the PRESIDENT,” he posted on X.

“Maybe I just respect the office, not a hard concept to understand. Just golfed with Obama not too long ago... and look forward to finishing my round with Trump! Now ya get out my mentions with all this politics and have amazing day," Barkley added.

Philadelphia Eagles' White House visit was 'optional'

The Philadelphia Eagles’ absentee list was stacked with starters and big names. In addition to Jalen Hurts, stars like AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith stayed home, joined by Jordan Davis, Jalen Carter, Josh Sweat, Jalyx Hunt, Zach Baun, Nakobe Dean, Nolan Smith Jr, Darius Slay, Quinyon Mitchell, Isaiah Rodgers, and CJ Gardner-Johnson.

But according to team owner Jeffrey Lurie, the visit was never mandatory. “Our culture is that these are optional things," he noted.

It’s worth remembering that the last time the Eagles won the Super Bowl in 2018, Trump canceled their White House visit altogether after learning that only a few players were going to show.
