WASHINGTON, DC: An Epstein email has resurfaced in headlines, allegedly revealing that Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump maintained contact even after Trump became president.

The revelation comes from a November 23, 2017, email that shows Epstein discussing his plans for the coming days with someone listed in his contacts as “Faith Kates.”

Trump had begun his first term as president in January 2017. The alleged email was among the documents released by the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday, November 12.

Trump mentioned in newly released Epstein email exchange

In the email, Kates asked Epstein where he planned to spend Thanksgiving. Epstein replied simply, “Eva.” Kates responded that “Glenn” would be there but described him as “such a snooze,” before asking, “Who else is down there?”

Epstein replied, “David Fizel, Hanson, Trump.” Kates then responded, “Have fun!!!”

The subject line and other details, such as the exact time the email was sent, were not disclosed.

The brief exchange leaves several unanswered questions, including the identities of “Faith Kates,” “David Fizel,” and “Hanson.”

Although the names appear to be spelled correctly, it remains unclear who these individuals are, as no verifiable records of them have been found. Another lingering question is what Epstein meant by “down there” and where that location might be.

Officials say Trump had no contact with Epstein, dismiss email claims

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt emphasized that the president had done nothing wrong, noting that Trump had previously banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago because of his unacceptable behavior. She also brushed off the emails, calling them meaningless.

Records from November 23, 2017, show that Trump was engaged in official Thanksgiving events at the time. He also had several other scheduled commitments. Reports and public schedules indicate that the president spent the holiday attending family gatherings.

Trump has repeatedly stated that he had no connection with Epstein. The president said he ended all contact years earlier after their brief acquaintance. According to past reporting from The Washington Post and The New York Times, Trump said he cut ties following Epstein’s “inappropriate behavior.”

“He did something that was inappropriate. He hired help. And I said, ‘Don’t ever do that again.’ He stole people that worked for me. I said, ‘Don’t ever do that again,’” Trump told reporters during a golf trip to Scotland. “He did it again. And I threw him out of the place. Persona non grata.”
