Claim: Morgan Freeman lectured Karoline Leavitt about racism on live TV
In early June 2025, a rumor circulated online claiming that actor Morgan Freeman lectured the White House Press Secretary on live television.
Many social media users claimed that he spoke with her on the topic of racism and inequality.
A Facebook post read, "Karoline Leavitt was mercilessly lectured by Morgan Freeman on the topic of R@CIST and INEQU@LITY on live TV! When she tried to defend her point of view, Morgan Freeman responded with words so sharp and profound that it made her speechless."

"This tense moment left the audience “holding their breath” and caused a storm on social media with a series of heated debates!" the post added.
The same claim was shared by multiple Facebook accounts while using different pictures of Freeman and Leavitt.
False: No credible evidence to back the claim
The claims made in the online rumor are false, as there is no evidence to prove that Morgan Freeman lectured Karoline Leavitt about racism on live TV, Snopes reported.
Moreover, searches on Google and Bing showed no indication that the confrontation took place between the two.

Furthermore, no video from any reputable media house could be found showing Freeman's supposed admonition, the fact-checking outlet reported.
Some users on YouTube also uploaded some videos with the same claim, but there was no proper source attribution or evidence to back them.
Interestingly, the rumor about the lecture seemed to originate from articles on disreputable websites.
An article read, "In a powerful and intense moment on live television, Karoline Leavitt found herself being sharply challenged by none other than Morgan Freeman on the pressing issues of racism and inequality. When Leavitt attempted to defend her stance, Freeman responded with words so profound and incisive that she was left utterly speechless."
The article was reportedly written using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, as per detection by Quillbot and Grammarly, according to Snopes.
