The post continued, "In a stunning act of generosity, NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes has made headlines for donating his entire $4.7 million signing bonus and endorsement earnings to a variety of charities and homeless relief efforts."

The claim made in the social media posts is false, as there is no proper evidence to back the claim that Patrick Mahomes donated his $4.7 million bonus to charities and "homeless relief," according to Snopes.

Proof: Facebook post contains AI-generated image
The post on the Kansas City Chiefs Fans Facebook group showed three photos in a single image. The largest picture (on the left) showed signs of artificial intelligence (AI) manipulation, according to the fact-checking outlet.
The photo, which depicts Mahomes signing a check upside down, had letters that did not form real words, both on the check and in the background.

Moreover, the 'KC' logo on Mahomes' chest did not appear to be clear.
Furthermore, the Facebook group that made the post had several administrators and moderators showing signs of inauthenticity, per the fact-checking outlet.
