Fans betting on Kendrick Lamar dissing Trump during Super Bowl halftime performance: 'Not ruling it out'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: With the Super Bowl championship coming soon, many people on the internet have begun to speculate if Kendrick Lamar will diss President Donald Trump during his halftime performance.
Trump will attend Super Bowl 59 between Philadelphia and Kansas City in New Orleans on Sunday, February 9 - the first sitting president ever to do so.
The rapper earlier released a song dissing Donald Trump in 2017.
Lamar, who took home five Grammys for his Drake’s diss track ‘Not Like Us’, is one of the performers scheduled to entertain the crowd during the Super Bowl LIX halftime show, as reported by The Express US.

Among many stars, like Taylor Swift and Miles Teller, Trump will also allegedly be attending the annual league championship game of the NFL on February 10.
The reported updated list of attendees have left the 37-year-old singer’s fans wondering whether he’ll control his anger or let it flow towards the 47th commander-in-chief like he did eight years ago.
The lyrics of Lamar’s song ‘The Heart Part 4’ say, “Donald Trump is a chump, know how we feel, punk Tell 'em that God comin' And Russia need a replay button, y'all up to somethin' Electorial votes look like memorial votes But America's truth ain't ignorin' the votes It's blasphemy, how many gon' blast for me?”
Kendrick Lamar later doubted the effect of his Trump diss
However, later he reportedly told Rolling Stone, “It's like beating a dead horse. We already know what it is. Are we gonna keep talking about it or are we gonna take action? You just get to a point where you're tired of talking about it.”
“It weighs you down and it drains your energy when you're speaking about something or someone that's completely ridiculous,” he added.
But some Redditors are still hopeful that Lamar would thrash Trump.

Another user wrote, “At the risk of sounding corny and I know it won't happen but if I hear just ‘Donald Trump is a chump know how we feel punk’ I would be ecstatic.”
The third user posted, “The best he could do is not acknowledge Trump's presence. Unfortunately, that's also the worst he could do.”
“Not ruling it out but a possibility,” a person remarked.
