LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Modern Family', an American sitcom created by Christopher Lloyd and Steven Levitan for ABC, enjoyed a successful run of 11 seasons from September 23, 2009, to April 8, 2020.

Despite the main cast members, including stars Sofia Vergara and Ariel Winter, moving on to different paths, there seems to be a possibility of a reunion.

Aubrey Anderson-Emmons has recently sparked conversations about a spin-off series, four years after the show's finale.

She was merely four years old when she bagged the role of Lily, the adopted Vietnamese daughter of Mitchell Pritchett and Cameron Tucker, per The Sun.

How old is Aubrey Anderson-Emmons now?

Aubrey Anderson-Emmons made her debut in the third season of 'Modern Family' as the daughter of characters Mitchell (played by Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cam (portrayed by Eric Stonestreet).

Now at the age of 16, Aubrey has expressed her openness to reprising her role if ABC is interested.

"They really haven't said much about anything," Aubrey told DailyMail.com. "But my mom asked me, "Would you want to do that?" and I thought about it and I don't know..."

The series finale of 'Modern Family' saw Aubrey's character and her on-screen parents moving to Missouri following Cam's appointment as a college football coach.

According to Aubrey, this leaves ample room for further exploration of the storyline.

"I feel like the finale left possibilities, and I think that's why people are always talking about a spinoff of the Tucker-Pritchet family," she shared.

Are they bringing back Modern Family?

The idea of a spinoff might not be as far-fetched as it seems. Jesse Tyler Ferguson confirmed in June 2022 that a script for a 'Modern Family' spinoff had been penned, although it appeared to be in a state of developmental uncertainty.

Emmons, on the other hand, has expressed her willingness to return to her cherished role as Lilly, provided she isn't the only one to do so.

"I'd definitely be interested if the script was good and the dads were on board," she stated. "But school is my priority right now - unless something great comes along."

Emmons matured from a charming toddler to a spirited tween during the show's run until its final season in 2020.

Post the show, she has been exploring different looks with her hair and makeup.

Her Instagram, boasting 1.5 million followers, showcases her transformation with images of her sporting a chic pixie cut and makeup.

She appears quite different from her child star days, often seen posing in trendy outfits like white crop tops and jeans.

In addition to acting, Aubrey is also musically inclined. She sings and plays guitar in a band named October, formed with three of her friends. The young actress is said to be in a relationship with musician Phoenix Reed.
