LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Selma Blair, recognized for her roles in popular teen movies such as 'Cruel Intentions' and 'Legally Blonde' from the 1990s and early 2000s, has recently severed ties with her prominent Hollywood talent representatives. This decision follows controversy stemming from inflammatory anti-Muslim remarks shared on her Instagram account last month.

According to HuffPost, Blair has ended association with big-name agencies like Creative Artists Agency (CAA) as well as her publicity team at Narrative PR and other key members of her management circle.

Recent updates to her IMDb Pro profile suggest that Blair has also ended her professional relationships with several key members of her representation team, including her manager Troy Nankin and attorney Cheryl Snow.

Blair has replaced them with manager Ben Gaynor and attorneys Berlandi Nussbaum and Joshua Reitzas.

Blair encountered significant backlash in February following an Islamophobic comment she shared on Instagram in reaction to a video criticizing Representatives Cori Bush and Rashida Tlaib.

In the comment, which has since been deleted, Blair wrote, "Deport all these terrorist supporting goons. Islam has destroyed Muslim countries and then they come here and destroy minds. They know they are liars. Twisted justifications. May they meet their fate."
