Despite Koru's ability to accommodate a relatively modest 18 guests across nine cabins, the vessel remains the largest masted yacht ever constructed, spanning over 415 feet in length.
That said, some reports suggest the massive yacht is merely “involved” in the wedding rather than serving as the main venue. It may instead function as a water taxi or host pre-wedding celebrations.
According to the Daily Mail, a “perfectly placed friend” clarified, “I promise you the wedding is not on the boat.”
Given Venice’s strict regulations to preserve its historic waterways, a yacht of Koru’s size would be required to anchor in the Arsenale area, an industrial zone that lacks the romantic charm found in other parts of the city.
