LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel recently took a swipe at former President Donald Trump for his peculiar claims during the Super Bowl pre-game festivities.

In a segment that showcased Trump's seemingly self-indulgent moments, Kimmel highlighted a particularly outrageous assertion, coining it as Trump having gone "full Don-ye West".

Mar-a-Lago's musical tribute: A prelude to Trump's Super Bowl antics

The comedic critique began with a quirky incident at Mar-a-Lago, where a high school band and cheerleaders paid tribute to Trump. Kimmel sarcastically remarked, "Next week on the 'Golden Bachelor', how something like that happens, I have no idea."

However, the main focus of Kimmel's roast was Trump's social media post targeting Taylor Swift.

According to Trump, he claimed credit for the Music Modernization Act, asserting, "I signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all other music artists."

Trump then took a dig at President Joe Biden, suggesting that Swift endorsing Biden would be disloyal to him.

Kimmel's sharp wit unleashed

In response to Trump's claim, Kimmel wittily quipped, "Now he's taking credit for how much money Taylor Swift [made], he's gone full Don-ye West on us."

The reference to Kanye West's infamous claim that he made Swift famous added a layer of humor to Kimmel's observation, emphasizing the absurdity of Trump's attempt to associate himself with Swift's success.

Kimmel mocks Biden's 'shrinkflation'

Kimmel did not spare Joe Biden either. He jokingly questioned the origin of the idea of 'shrinkflation', suggesting it felt like an "AI-generated joke video".

The comedian went on to share Biden's grievances about sports drinks, bags of chips, and, notably, shrinking ice cream cartons.

The juxtaposition of these seemingly trivial complaints with the weighty title of "shrinkflation" drew further amusement from Kimmel.

The late-night host mockingly said, "You ever get the feeling that maybe Trump and Biden are trying as hard as they can to not become president again but we just won't listen."
