How Selena Gomez may have manifested her gorgeous marquise diamond engagement ring from Benny Blanco
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have got engaged but the 'Fetish' singer may have manifested her engagement ring in 2015!
On December 11, the 36-year-old music producer proposed to the Rare Beauty mogul in a romantic setting that perfectly blended their shared love for the whimsical and personal.

The proposal, as seen in Selena Gomez’s Instagram post captioned “Forever begins now,” featured a cozy Taco Bell picnic complete with faux greenery and intimate vibes.
Among the photos shared, the standout was Gomez's marquise diamond engagement ring—a breathtaking piece set on a gold band encrusted with smaller diamonds.

Blanco’s choice of a marquise diamond is as thoughtful as it is striking, seemingly referencing Gomez’s 2015 hit 'Good For You,' from her second studio album 'Revival' where she sang:
“I'm on my 14 carats / I'm 14 carat”, and “I'm on my marquise diamonds / I'm a marquise diamond".
The second chorus goes: “I’m on my marquise diamonds. I’m a marquise diamond. Could even make that Tiffany jealous."
UK retailer at Steven Stone, Maxwell Stone described the dazzling masterpiece as a true work of art, featuring “meticulously crafted facets” that showcase its “exceptional brilliance," Livemint reported.
Highlighting the design’s elegance, with a center stone beautifully accented by diamond-encrusted shoulders, he estimated its value at an impressive $200,000 (£157,000), adding, “Selena’s ring is a stunning example of superior beauty and craftsmanship.”
Gomez and Blanco’s love story began long before their romance became public in December 2023.
The two had collaborated on projects like the 2019 single 'I Can’t Get Enough' and the Blanco-produced 'Single Soon' released in August 2023.
The duo officially soft-launched their relationship on Instagram, with Gomez sharing a fuzzy Story of them together and even liking a fan post that hinted at their romance.
Their first public appearance as a couple came at a Los Angeles Lakers game, where they cozied up courtside.
Selena Gomez reveals Benny Blanco has 'been a light' in her life
In April 2024, Benny Blanco opened up about his bond with the 'Only Murders in the Building' star in an interview with the Wall Street Journal, revealing how love snuck up on him.
“It’s crazy how your partner could just be sitting there the whole time, right in front of your eyes, and you don’t even notice, and then you have that clueless moment where you’re like, ‘Wait, I’m in love,” he said.
For Gomez, the relationship has been transformative. Speaking to Vanity Fair in September, she described Blanco as her best friend and unwavering support system.
"We always make sure we’re protecting what we have, but there’s no rules,” she explained. “I want him to always be himself. I always want to be myself," she added.
“I’ve never been loved this way,” Gomez said, adding further, “He’s just been a light. A complete light in my life. I love telling him everything.”
While the couple has expressed their shared dream of starting a family, Gomez has been candid about the challenges she faces due to medical complications.

“I haven’t ever said this, but I unfortunately can’t carry my own children,” she revealed to Vanity Fair. “I have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby’s in jeopardy. That was something I had to grieve for a while.”
Despite this, Gomez reportedly remains hopeful and open to exploring surrogacy and adoption, envisioning a fulfilling future with Blanco by her side.
