NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Al Roker stands tall at 5 feet 8 inches, however, many of his fans claimed the NBC legend was made to look just “3 feet tall” during Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Roker, 70, faced a few controversial moments as co-host of the annual Thanksgiving event on Thursday, November 28. However, the most talked-about topic among fans was his height and seating arrangements, which led to many curious questions and speculations.

As the veteran weatherman initially sat beside his co-hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb, fans noticed that Roker was looking considerably shorter than his counterparts.
Al Roker’s height at Thanksgiving Parade sparks curiosity
Al Roker, dressed in all brown, initially sat beside Guthrie and Kotb, when the viewers started noticing the disparity in the heights of the television presenters’ chairs.
The veteran journalist appeared to be sitting in a smaller chair, while his co-hosts appeared considerably taller than him, reported The US Sun.

In reality, Kotb and Guthrie are just one and two inches taller than Roker, respectively. While Guthrie is the tallest at 5'10", Kotb too has an impressive height of 5’9".

Nevertheless, the unusual seating arrangement quickly caught the attention of the fans who slammed the channel for providing Roker with a smaller seat which they termed a “kid’s chair.”
However, having his seating was not the only problem during the annual parade. Though he has been hosting the event since 1995, Roker also made a blunder while managing his microphone initially.
