Internet baffled as TJ Holmes and Amy Robach not 'allowed' in Disney parks after their ABC dismissal
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A little over a year ago, TJ Holmes and Amy Robach were let go from ABC due to an affair that came to public attention, as reported by DailyMail.
Holmes has now hinted that following their dismissal, he and Robach have been barred from major Disney amusement parks.
On the February 8 episode of their podcast, 'Amy And TJ', Holmes, the 46-year-old anchor, suggested that their departure from ABC, a company owned by Disney, has resulted in them being denied access to Disney Parks.
TJ Holmes and Amy Robach face alleged Disney park ban after ABC dismissal
In a conversation with former Bachelor Matt James, Holmes indicated that they wouldn't be able to accompany him to a Disney race.
James had revealed his intentions to partake in a 5K race organized at a Disney park, prior to Holmes hinting that he and Amy might not be granted entry.
"I am going to run the London Marathon. I am going to try to get [my girlfriend] Rachael [Kirkconnell] into a race — the Disney 5K," the reality star said as cited by Us Weekly.
Holmes subtly suggested that he and the 51-year-old Robach might not be able to accompany the couple. "We would love to run with you down at that 5K. I don't think we are allowed on the park's grounds anymore," he joked Robach.
"We will check. Last we checked, we weren't."
The TV anchor didn't elaborate on the reasons behind their alleged ban from Disney parks, though it is presumed to be linked to their dismissal.
Before their exit from ABC following the disclosure of their affair, the duo had co-anchored the third hour of 'Good Morning America' for two years.

Holmes and Robach were reportedly dismissed after their affair became public. Despite being married to others, they were seen together in November 2022.
In the same month, Holmes filed for divorce from Marilee Fiebig, his wife of over a decade, and Robach ended her marriage to Andrew Shue.
They initially kept silent about the controversy, but in December 2023, they launched a podcast to share their perspective.
