MANCHESTER, NEW HAMPSHIRE: Donald Trump threw a protestor out of his rally in Manchester, New Hampshire, on Saturday, January 20, for interrupting his speech by calling the former President a "dictator," reported Daily Mail.

About an hour into the event, a man from the crowd yelled at the Republican frontrunner, "He's a dictator." Pausing his speech, Trump asked the security to get the man out of the arena.

Security soon led the man wearing a black hoodie out of the SNHU Arena in Manchester.

The dramatic events unfolded as the White House hopeful ramped up his campaign in the Granite State to repeat his victory in the Iowa caucus. However, rival presidential contender Nikki Haley is giving a tough competition ahead of the state primary on January 23.

Donald Trump's wish to be 'dictator for a day' backfires

It was Trump himself who started the "dictator" talks.

Claiming he wanted to be a "dictator for a day," in December 2023, the former President poured oil on the fire by making multiple hateful statements against the undocumented immigrants entering the US. Adding to this, the praises for authoritarian rulers like Adolf Hitler and Chinese President Xi Jinping gave rise to criticism from the Democrats.

However, not giving into the past criticism, Trump remarked after the man was kicked out of the rally, "Now we know that politics is getting serious."

The Republican frontrunner also responded to Haley's concerns about his mental fitness in his speech. "I feel my mind is stronger now than it was 25 years ago. Is that possible?" he said.

Trump raised suspicions about his cognitive ability when he confused Haley's name with former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's while speaking about the January 6 Capitol insurrection.

Internet reacts to drama at NH rally

Social media users slammed Trump for kicking the man out of the venue. Accusing the ex-president of not allowing free speech, they called him a "bully."

One user remarked, "Violence is brewing."

Another user wrote, "Donald is a big bully. Someone needs to throw him out."

"This is mob mentality and it just illustrates the hate snd divide Trump preaches. He’s so dangerous for this country," a third reaction read.

Another mocking response read, "The party of free speech."

A fifth user shared a similar opinion, "For someone who claims to care so much about free speech, they’re clearly not expressing that sentiment to those who do the same in his presence."

"Trump brings out the mob mentality wherever he goes," added one user.

Another user said, "Because we have to have law and order. And the only way to do that is to shove around people who don't agree with you."
