PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: A video of former president Donald Trump and Laura Loomer went viral amidst the right-wing activist's increased presence in the Republican campaign.

Besides Loomer's alleged involvement in the Trump campaign, Melania Trump's noticeable absence from the campaign trail made the video explode on social media.

The nearly ten-minute clip was widely shared on cyberspace by many, including internet personality and former senior executive at NBCUniversal, Mike Sington.

In the video, the ex-president was seen resting his hands on Loomer's waist as both appeared to be in the middle of a conversation. The conspiracy theorist in a blue sleeveless dress and Trump in his usual suit and a MAGA hat also briefly hugged.

Laura Loomer became a constant companion, initially appearing alongside Donald Trump at a recent 9/11 memorial ceremony. She was also spotted getting off the real estate mogul's plane ahead of his debate with Vice President Kamala Harris.

Melania, who is busy promoting her upcoming memoir, did not accompany her husband to Philadelphia for the ABC News debate.

The former first lady's memoir titled 'Melania' will hit the stores next month. She remained active on social media, posting advertisements for the book. In addition, she also shared her views on Trump's 2020 election defeat and how it impacted her family and the nation and suggested there was conspiracy behind the assassination attempt against her husband.

Though the MAGA spearhead attempted to distance himself from Loomer, the viral video helped little to quash the rising criticisms.

Following the backlash against the right-wing activist within the GOP circle, Trump, on September 13, made a clarification post on Truth Social.

"Laura Loomer doesn’t work for the campaign. She’s a private citizen and longtime supporter," he stated.

Loomer's increased association with Trump gained attention, especially after her disparaging social media remarks against Harris.

On September 11, Loomer took her X (formerly Twitter) account, writing the "White House will smell like curry" if the Democratic presidential nominee wins in November.

The statement sparked an online feud between her and GOP Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene, who considered the fellow MAGAite's opinion "appalling and extremely racist." The Georgia Republican also asserted Loomer did not have the "right mentality to advise" in the presidential election.

Though Trump disagreed with Loomer's remarks, he appeared to support her, claiming she was tired of witnessing the violent attacks against him by the "Radical Left Marxists and Fascists."

The viral video of Donald Trump and Laura Loomer prompted netizens to wonder where Melania Trump was amidst the ongoing fuss. Some also pointed out that he never looked at or embraced the ex-FLOTUS as he did the MAGA ally.

One user shared a meme depicting the cringe feeling over the viral video of Trump and Loomer.
