Internet lauds Seth Meyers' 'wholesome' take as he skewers Republicans with perfect Taylor Swift lyric
MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: Seth Meyers, on January 31, commented on the conservative reaction to Taylor Swift, describing it as "easily their most deranged."
In a jesting manner, he quoted a supposed Taylor Swift lyric, saying, "Allow me to quote a Taylor Swift lyric when I say, ‘You people are out of your f**king minds.’"
Meyers then humorously clarified, "Allow me to quote a Taylor Swift lyric when I say "you people are out of your [bleep] minds. I'm just kidding. That's not a Taylor Swift lyric. It's Seth's version".

Seth Meyers took aim at Fox News' Brian Kilmeade for cautioning Taylor Swift to "stay out" of endorsing Joe Biden, as she did in 2020.
Meyers humorously compared Swift's accomplishments, including her 12 Grammy wins, record sales, and Time's Person of the Year recognition, to Kilmeade's qualities.
Meyers quipped, "Now, let’s see. Whose instincts do we think are sharper? The 12-time Grammy-winning artist who has sold over 200 million records, staged the highest-grossing concert series of all time, produced and distributed her own record-breaking concert movie, and was Time’s Person of the Year, or the dingus whose main talent is staring blankly at the camera every morning like a sock with button eyes?"
Meyers later added, "And, by the way, for all the people who complain about shots of Taylor Swift dancing and having fun during games, why? Why are you so mad? I love football, but there's 11 minutes --there's 11 minutes of actual gameplay. What would you rather look at?", answering his own question.
