WASHINGTON, DC: President Joe Biden appeared to contradict his press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, regarding a recent medical checkup. This confusion has led to widespread mockery and criticism from the public, with many questioning the administration's transparency and consistency.

During a press briefing on Wednesday, July 3, Jean-Pierre explicitly denied that Biden had undergone any medical examinations since his last annual physical in February, as reported by Fox News.

When CNN's Min Jung Lee inquired about the president's health, the exchange was clear. "Has the president had any medical exams since his last annual physical in February?" Lee questioned.

"And got – and we were able to talk to the – to his doctor about that, and that is a no," Jean-Pierre responded. Jung pressed further, asking, "He hasn’t had any kind of medical exam?" "No," Jean-Pierre confirmed.

However, just hours later, during a meeting with Democratic governors at the White House, Biden reportedly stated that he had recently seen the White House physician to check on a cold he had during the presidential debate against Donald Trump.

The New York Times reported that Biden also mentioned he would be scheduling fewer events after 8 pm to ensure he could "get more sleep." When confronted about these conflicting statements, the White House clarified to Fox News Digital, "Several days later, the President was seen to check on his cold and was recovering well."

The incident has further fueled ongoing concerns about Biden's age and mental ability, especially among his closest allies, politicians, and the media. During last week's presidential debate, Biden's performance, characterized by a raspy voice and rambling answers, raised eyebrows and sparked discussions about his fitness for office.

Following the debate, there was notable anxiety among Democratic Party members and liberal media figures, many of whom were reportedly in "panic" mode over Biden's performance.

This led to widespread media coverage and discussions among Democratic Party officials about whether Biden should continue his campaign or step aside at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in August.

Some political strategists have suggested that the Democratic Party needs to act swiftly to replace Biden before his nomination is finalized.

Biden White House's apparent contradictions spark mockery online

The apparent contradictions and the administration's handling of the situation quickly became fodder for internet users, who took to social media to mock the Biden White House.

One user on X sarcastically remarked, "So satisfying to watch a well integrated team perform at their peak! Inspires confidence..." Another user added, "Lies lies lies."

A third user commented, "Because HE'S a liar, and she HAS to lie," while a fourth wrote, "The whole presidency is a contradiction." A fifth user stated, "The never ending liberal lies," and a sixth added, "Can't even get their stories straight."

A seventh user declared, "The Biden administration is the lying administration," and an eighth user concluded, "Everybody in this administration lies. To the public. Every single day. The fish rots from the head down."
