Internet sides with Alyssa Farah Griffin as she mocks 'thirstiest' Donald Trump post about Taylor Swift
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Alyssa Farah Griffin took a jab at her former boss, Donald Trump, following his peculiar post on his Truth Social platform, where he claimed to have personally contributed to Taylor Swift's career during his time in the White House.
During the February 12 episode of 'The View', Griffin couldn't resist commenting, saying, "Can I mention my one Super Bowl highlight that we didn’t get to? And I hate to interject politics," before adding, "Donald Trump sent out the thirstiest tweet — er, 'Truth' — of all time, basically saying, ‘Taylor Swift should like me and I think Travis Kelce should, too.’ It was the funniest thing!"

Griffin mocks Trump's claim of doing more for Taylor Swift than Biden
Griffin's reference was to a Truth Social post made by the 77-year-old on February 11, where he boasted about signing and being "responsible for" the Music Modernization Act "for Taylor Swift and all other musical artists."
In his rant, he continued, "Joe Biden didn’t do anything for Taylor, and never will. There’s no way she could endorse Crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt President in the History of our Country, and be disloyal to the man who made her so much money."
He concluded by saying, "Besides that, I like her boyfriend, Travis, even though he may be a Liberal, and probably can’t stand me!"
Following the panel's surprised reactions, the former White House aide remarked that she had been taken aback by the unexpected social media post.
"He knows how powerful they both are as an entity, and it was just the saddest thing I’ve seen," she said.
Kara Swisher mocks Trump for trying to grab Taylor Swift's attention
Journalist Kara Swisher also mocked the controversial politician for seemingly trying to grab the attention of the 'Cruel Summer' singer.
Taking undeserved credit for her enormous success is classic (and heinous), but this reads as if he’s stone cold terrified of her and her power and realizes — after a lifetime of terrorizing women — that this is the one who can actually end him. Even her boyfriend frightens him. pic.twitter.com/R538P284Bv

"Taking undeserved credit for her enormous success is classic (and heinous)", she tweeted on X/Twitter. "But this reads as if he’s stone cold terrified of her and her power and realizes — after a lifetime of terrorizing women — that this is the one who can actually end him. Even her boyfriend frightens him."
Meanwhile, Griffin's jab at Trump's assertion not only elicited laughter and agreement from her supporters but also ignited debate across the show's YouTube channel.
Some applauded Griffin for her humor and for calling out what they perceived as Trump's penchant for exaggeration, saying, "I really don’t care anything about football, but Kansas City winning makes the MAGAts heads explode! That’s golden for Mel."
"I just love the Kansas City Chiefs winning because their victory caused the MAGA clowns to have a full blown meltdown/crisis," chimed in another.
"It was a GREAT SUPER BOWL! Never has there been more NEW NFL FANS in 1 year as the 2023/24 season! and a even GREATER DAY WITHOUT Citizen TRUMP in it!" read another comment.
