LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Alyssa Milano, 51, recently had a fun night out with her son Milo, 12, as she went to watch her on-screen father, Tony Danza, perform live at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood, California, on Saturday, February 24.

Milano and Danza, 72, shared screen on the ABC sitcom 'Who’s the Boss?', which ran from 1984 to 1982. She portrayed the role of Samantha, the daughter of Danza’s character, Tony Micelli, an ex-baseball player and widower who relocated to Brooklyn to take up the job as a live-in housekeeper.

Later, the actress took to her Instagram to share a slew of images from the night with the caption, "Tonight was very special for me. I got to bring my real life son to see my tv dad’s show at @catalinajazzclub."

The carousel included two photos of the mother-and-son duo, one of her son with the poster of the show in the background, and the other was of Danza performing, as per PEOPLE Magazine.

In the shows titled 'Standards & Stories', where 'The Good Cop' star sings classic songs and shares stories from his life as an actor.

Netizens bring back discussion surrounding Alyssa Milano's GoFundMe controversy

Despite the uplifting photo of Milano spending quality time watching her on-screen father Danza's show with her son, netizens did not forget to bring up the recent GoFundMe scandal.

One Facebook user commented, "Was there a GoFundMe I could contribute to?" Someone else added, "Hmm she's trying to do damage control."

A person said, "Is she going to ask for a Gofund me later for this?🤣," and another added, "Did I miss the go fund me page ? 🤣🤣."

Milano's comment section on her Instagram post was also flooded with naysayers as they added fuel to the controversy. One of them said, "Now how much did you have to raise through GoFundMe to take your son to see Tony danza's show."

Someone added, "Did you pay for this trip with a go fund me request?"

However, there were multiple fans who supported the 'Charmed' actress and praised her for creating such an organic experience for her son.

One applauded, "What great night out !! Tony still looking good❤️," and another person chimed in, "WoW !! So Great ! Milo come with you to see Tony ! 😍😍😍 can’t wait to see the new pic of you and Tony ❤️."

Alyssa Milano started a GoFundMe page to gather donations for her son's baseball camp

On January 25, Milano took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, "My son’s baseball team is raising money for their Cooperstown trip. Any amount would be so greatly appreciated. You can read more about the team and make a donation here."



 

She faced immense criticism as netizens called her out for asking for money despite being a millionaire, according to USA Today.

After a netizen left a hurtful comment on her son Milo's Instagram account, Milano addressed the issue on social media.

Sharing the screenshot of the exchange, she wrote, "Every parent raises money for their child’s sports teams and many of them do so through GoFundMe. I am no different."

Milano further added, "As much as I’d love to pay for the entire team and their families for travel, transportation, hotel, food and beverage, uniforms, trading pins and all the things teams do for this kind of trip—I can not afford to do so. Maybe someday."

She continued, "Also, if I did pay for everyone—my trolls would find something else to be hurtful about," as per PEOPLE Magazine.

Milano mentioned, "Regardless of how you feel about me, going on to my hardworking 12 year old son’s Instagram page and leaving these kinds of messages is so horrid. Leave the kids alone. Let them play baseball. If you are against donating—don’t donate. If you’d like to donate to help the team’s families — we appreciate it—the link is in his bio."
