Jelly Roll is all smiles as he meets Donald Trump at UFC 309, Internet says ‘America is healing’

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Country music star Jelly Roll appeared gleeful while meeting president-elect Donald Trump on Saturday night, November 16, reported Whiskey Riff.

Both of them were in attendance at the Madison Square Garden in New York for UFC 309, that featured a heavyweight matchup between Jone 'Bones' Jones and Stipe Miotic.

Trump was flanked by his star supporters, including Elon Musk, Robert F Kennedy Jr, Tulsi Gabbard, Vivek Ramaswamy, Mike Johnson, Dana White, Kid Rock, as well as his sons Don Jr and Eric Trump.

The team got a thunderous applause in the arena, with the fight winner Jones even performing the celebratory Trump YMCA dance on stage after the bout.

Jelly Roll was already present among the crowd in the arena when Donald Trump arrived with his squad on Saturday. He first gave a nod to the president-elect as he went past him to greet podcast host and UFC commentator Joe Rogan.

However, Jelly Roll seemed really pleased when he finally got a chance to interact with Trump later in the evening. Kid Rock swooped into the conversation at one point, apparently giving his fellow musician his approval.

According to Whiskey Riff, a connection to the future president could prove beneficial to Jelly Roll, as his mission to help convicts is well known. An ex-convict himself, the singer does his best to give back to the community, and a rapport with Trump may open doors for prison reforms in the future.
