LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Lopez is trying to save her marriage with Ben Affleck and make it work “at any cost.”
Amid impending divorce rumor, an insider recently shared an insight into Affleck and the ‘Maid in Manhattan’ star.
While talking to The US Sun, the source shared that while the 54-year-old Bronx diva is doing her best to work out her marriage with Affleck, the two stars possess different temperaments.
The source added, because of their temperaments, they deal differently with life’s stresses.
Insider says Jennifer Lopez can ‘fake it’
The insider dished out to the outlet, "When Ben's having a problem, you can see it all over his face and he does want to talk about it and hash it out, but it can be exhausting.”
They continued, "That's not the world Jennifer lives in most of the day. She's all about winning, not pain, and she's still determined to have this fairy tale ending with Ben, at any cost."
The insider also commented on the couple’s public image, and shared, "The bottom line is that she can fake it and he can't."
The insider continued, "When he's falling apart, everybody around him knows and everybody faces a loyalty test if they're not comforting and consoling him.”
"He's genuinely grateful for his sobriety and I don't think he's falling off the wagon again anytime soon,” continued the source.
The mole further added, "But he's still got the weight of the world hanging over his shoulders every day and Jennifer doesn't, despite the recent bad fortune with her tour and new music. She doesn't 'do' misery, at least not around the people closest to her."
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck sparked divorce rumors
Recently, the pair - affectionately called by their fans as ‘Bennifer’ sparked a divorce rumor after a source close to the couple shared with InTouch, that the ‘AIR’ actor had allegedly “decided to call it quits” on his marriage.
The source declared, "It's over; they're headed for a divorce and for once [Ben's] not to blame.”
"They'll never stop loving each other, but she can't control him, and he can't change her,” added the source before concluding, "There's no way it could have lasted.”
It has also been reported that Affleck left the couple’s $60 million dream house in Beverly Hills, California, and moved into a rented property in Brentwood.
After seven weeks of absence from the public sphere (the actress even attended the Met Gala alone in early May), the couple reunited for Affleck’s teenage child Fin’s school program.
The couple met at the parking lot and exchanged civil pleasantries.
Meanwhile, one of the observers shared with Daily Mail, “Ben did not look happy to see JLo as she arrived at a show for one of his kids.”
The eyewitness added, “When he saw her get out of her car, they did not hug or kiss.”
Following the program, Affleck even dropped Lopez and her daughter Emme, who was also in attendance, to their family home before driving away to Brentwood.
