According to a source, the singer has helped Affleck "become a family man again," as per People.

The insider revealed, “Family is very important to both of them and together they were family people — and the connection doesn't end.”
Lopez is the mother of twin boys, Emme and Max, whom she shares with her former husband, Marc Anthony.
The 'Gone Girl' star shares three children, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.
Commenting on the soon-to-be-divorced pair, the source shared, “They are very different people. She's super public and wants to go out, and he's more of an introvert and is happy to hang out at home.”

Jennifer Lopez reportedly filed for divorce earlier this week, citing April 26 as the date of separation.
A tipster previously told People that the ‘On The Floor’ singer was “very disappointed and sad, but Ben hasn't given her any signs that he wants to continue their marriage. He hasn't shown any commitment or interest in making their marriage work.”
“It's gotten to the point that she just needs to look out for herself,” they stated.
Another mole added, “Considering everything that's going on, Jennifer is having a good summer. She's been off and able to focus on what's next. She’s enjoyed spending time with her kids, family and friends. She always has a good attitude even when things are not perfect.”

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck married in 2022 after rekindling their romance years later.
Despite the divorce drama, they are reportedly being considerate about their children.
The duo is “trying to make this transition as easy as possible and be gentle on their children. They don't want to make things more upsetting than they already have been,” a source disclosed.
“Ben certainly doesn't want to cause any strain between Jen and Violet, and he is in support of them spending time together. It's a little tricky for him, but both Jen and Ben want all their kids to be happy, regardless of the issues they are facing in their marriage,” they noted.
The insider added, “They are hoping to have clear, new, and healthy directions for themselves and for their families. They are trying to be strong, but it is a sad time for everyone, and it is difficult to have to deal with everything playing out publicly.”
