Amidst rumors of a possible reconciliation between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, after they were seen together over the weekend, sources close to the Bronx diva dismissed the idea of another Bennifer reunion, instead suggesting that she's seeking a younger man for a rebound relationship.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck ended their marriage last month when Lopez filed for divorce on August 20, which coincidentally marked the second anniversary of their traditional wedding at Affleck's Georgia estate.

A source close to the 'Shotgun Wedding' actress recently told Closer Weekly UK that Jennifer Lopez is reportedly seeking a younger rebound, with some names being floated, including newly divorced Joe Jonas.

The insider spilled, “Jen wants to show the world that she can bag a hot young Hollywood man, and it’s not as if it will be too hard for her to pull off considering how gorgeous she is.”

“She has fully closed the book on Ben and is already looking ahead to moving on with her life,” claimed the source. 

To demonstrate that she is reportedly over Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez made a bold statement by walking the red carpet in a daring "revenge dress" at the premiere of their film 'Unstoppable' during the Toronto International Film Festival.

Her Tamara Ralph gown featured vertical slits running from her shoulders to the ankles on both sides and held together by a few velvet ribbons tied in bows. 

Insiders have revealed that names like Zac Efron and Joe Jonas are being floated as potential young stars for Jennifer Lopez’s rebound. Even Kim Kardashian’s ex, Pete Davidson, isn't off the table, according to the source.

“She loves the idea of dating a hunk like Joe Jonas or Zac Efron, but pals think it could be a dangerous move and that she should be searching for love and security when she’s ready,” the insider shared.

They further added, “But more worrying for her team is someone like Pete Davidson, as he’s been in rehab and Jen might think she could end up trying to save him.”

The insider mentioned that while Lopez's fans aren't too excited about the idea, they added, "She's ready to have some fun again" following her messy breakup.

The source dished, “She wants to let the world know she is ready to have some fun again after going through a really dark time with Ben. She’s not looking to move someone in, she just wants some eye candy by her side for her next appearance.”

While it remains to be seen who might become Jennifer Lopez’s next temporary fling, dating younger men is not a new trend for the 'This Is Me…Now' singer.

After initially struggling to articulate her words, Lopez repeated the phrase several times and then joked, “It is what it is.”
