LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘The Voice’ Season 26 wrapped up on Tuesday, December 10, with the crowning Sofronio Vasquez of Team Buble as the winner. But the audience was left displeased as the fan-favorite Jeremy Beloate came fifth in the grand finale of the singing competition. 

The Memphis, Tennessee native, Beloate, who has commanded a huge fandom after delivering several soul-starring performances throughout the season, competed for the final honor one last time during Tuesday’s finale. 

As the contestants belted out their last performances in ‘The Voice’ Season 26 with their mentors, Beloate teamed up with his coach, Snoop Dogg to perform Otis Redding's classic '(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay.'

Jeremy Beloate made a sensation entry into ‘The Voice’ Season 26 when he received four chair turns from coaches Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani, Michael Bublé and Snoop Dogg during the blind auditions.

Though the Baldwin Wallace University graduate initially chose Buble as his coach, he was later saved by Snoop Dogg in the battle rounds, according to WKYC

Apart from performing with Snoop Dogg on Tuesday, December 10, Beloate also performed solo on Jackie DeShannon’s ‘What the World Needs Now is Love’ on Monday, December 9. 

While Beloate stood fifth, Danny Joseph from Team Reba McIntyre came fourth and Gwen Stefani’s Sydney Sterlace stood third.

Team Michael Buble won over the audience as his team member Shye finished second with Sofronio Vasquez, of Team Buble, clinching the top position. 

Internet feels Jeremy Beloate securing fifth place is 'flat out wrong'

The internet was raging as Jeremy Beloate came in fifth at 'The Voice' as the fans felt it "can't be right."

One of the social media users exclaimed, "Okay Jeremy beloate getting 5th?!?! No way…. That can’t be right 😞😵‍💫🤦🏼‍♀️ @NBCTheVoice."



 

"JEREMY BELOATE IN FIFTH PLACE ARE YOU F**KING KIDDING ME BRO #thevoice," said one, before adding in another post, "Like he was one THEE best up there I don’t understand."
