Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake's marriage under scrutiny as she's seen without ring after husband's DWI arrest

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: In the wake of Justin Timberlake’s DWI arrest last week, his wife Jessica Biel was seen without her wedding ring. 

Biel is currently filming ‘The Better Sister’ in New York City where she was photographed without her glittering band, per The Mirror.

The couple tied the knot in 2012 and have two sons - Silas, 6, and Phineas, 4. 

It has also been reported that the couple have not met in person after the arrest and have communicated only via FaceTime since his arrest last week. 

Last Tuesday, the ‘Sexy Back’ singer was arrested in the Big Apple after he allegedly ran a stop sign and failed to maintain lanes on his way back home. 

Shortly after midnight on Tuesday, June 18, Timberlake came out of The American Hotel and rode his 2025 grey BMW on his way home. But the police stationed outside the hotel caught the actor “swerving” on his way home, though he claimed he had just one martini.

Timberlake was pulled over and was taken into custody on DWI charges. Later, in the morning, the actor was released without bail. 

The Grammy-winning singer is currently on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour and will be taking the stage at Madison Square Garden in New York on June 26.

Insiders say Jessica Biel intends to support Justin Timberlake in future shows

After the ‘In Time’ actor was arrested, it was reported that Biel - who was filming just 100 miles away from NYC - was relieved that her husband was safe but worried a serious harm could have befallen him. 

An insider said to an outlet per Daily Mail, “Jessica is disappointed but he is her husband so she is by his side and will have his back through all of it.”

The insider added, “She would like Justin to curb his drinking, so he never gets into a situation like this ever again. She is treating it like a slap on the wrist and is hoping that it doesn't lead to anything more severe in the future.”

“Jessica and Justin have talked over FaceTime and have texted but with her work schedule and his upcoming tour dates, they haven't physically gotten together to talk about it, but she has his back,” added the source. 

“They will get together soon once she has time off from filming as she intends to support him on a couple of future shows,” added the insider last week.

In May, a source close to the couple shared with a news outlet that despite several scandals, Biel’s relationship with Timberlake is now stronger than ever, with the ‘Total Recall’ actress hoping he has now learned from his past mistakes. 

The insider close to the married couple of 12 years shared, "Jessica trusts him again and feels solid in their relationship. People can be skeptical, but Jessica’s confident he’s learned from his mistakes,” per OK! Magazine. 

Timberlake and Biel’s relationship has been put to the test several times throughout their married life including the time when pop star Britney Spears made cheating allegations against the ‘Friends With Benefits’ actor in her memoir ‘The Woman in Me’. 

Biel and Timberlake’s marriage was put to the test another time in 2019 when the ‘Trolls’ actor was photographed getting close to his 'Palmer' co-star Alisha Wainwright. The two were seen laughing, drinking, and merry-making in the photographs. 

However, soon after the photos went viral, the ‘Mirrors’ actor issued an apology on social media and denied having any affair. 

Taking to his Instagram, he wrote then, "A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgment — but let me be clear — nothing happened between me and my costar.”

He admitted, "I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior. I should have known better. This is not the example I want to set for my son.”

The ‘Social Network’ star added, "I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that.”

According to the source close to the couple, the couple managed to face the storm without getting harmed. Nevertheless, they passed the harrowing phase in life and are stronger than ever now. 

"It hasn’t always been easy but they’re happy now,” said the insider.
