PUEBLO, COLORADO: The horrific discovery of a child's body covered in concrete in Colorado sparked a desperate search for the two more missing children since one of the siblings claimed they were kidnapped by their father and his girlfriend.

Jesus and Yesenia Dominguez, who are currently 10 and 9, were last seen in 2018 when they were 5 and 3 years old, according to officials.

Officers were "never able to locate them" when asked to check on the children's welfare in the past, even though they haven't been reported missing, 9news reports.

After a child's body was discovered in January 2024 in a Pueblo, Colorado, storage unit with its body covered in concrete, police issued an additional request to find them and make sure they were safe.

On January 10, Pueblo Police Department officers were dispatched to Kings Storage in the city, which is located about 110 miles south of Denver.

The reason for the dispatch was that someone had reported finding a metal container filled with hardened concrete in one of the units.

Homicide detectives were assigned to the case after it was discovered during the investigation that a child's remains were inside the container.

According to a woman, the two missing children are her siblings, and their father and his girlfriend are to blame for "taking them away from their family."

"There is nothing we can do when we have no clue where anyone is. We searched everywhere and contacted [the] police several times about this and now they want to finally take [this] seriously," she continued.

Jesus and Yesenia have not been seen since the summer of 2018

The coroner has not yet made the young victim's identity public so that their next of kin can be notified.

As per Daily Mail, police released a statement saying, "The investigation indicates Jesus and Yesenia have not been seen since approximately the summer of 2018."

It further added, "Yesenia Dominguez was approximately 3 years old when she was last seen, and she would currently be 9 years old. Jesus Dominguez was approximately 5 years old when he was last seen, and he would currently be approximately 10 years old."

"Pueblo Police would like to confirm the location and safety of these children."

The force added that they had already spoken with two persons who might be relevant to this investigation. As of now, the Pueblo Chieftain reports that no one has been arrested.
